Groundhog summer transfer window thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The story reads that the clause would only be activated for a summer move anyway. Unless they were willing to sell for less...

So t's hjalf way point in the transfer window and there is no Super qualdee strker out there but the daily sh*te thinks we'll sp*nk £37million on a now crocked wunderkind when for £2million less we can get the beast that is Diego Costa.

I can see Costa smashing Terry's nose as he powers a header past Cech which turns out to be the winner... :twisted: .........why can't we buy what we really need and can afford for once.

We are ahead of richer big boys, why can't we just go for it, instead of the usual jockeying for virtual trophy with bottom feeders like the scum :( :evil: :banghead:

With Milan in disarray, little chance of CL qualification and with some very high wage earners I wonder if El Sharawaay might be available. He'd be a good option because he can play wide as well.

He's one of their few prized assets left, I think the Ultras would go mental if they sold him now
