Calm down guys. Getting a bit borderline here. Stop before the line is crossed.

It was wenger and the board who crossed the line....barstewardsChippy wrote:Calm down guys. Getting a bit borderline here. Stop before the line is crossed.

this is not going to be an easy season. 30 years in football you say? at this rate, the man will be hounded out and it is not going to be pretty. just hope he doesn't drag the club further down as I think his 'miracle' of pulling off the top four will run out this year.

I was beginning to think this too - I just get the feeling that the famous Wenger "luck" might be running out.guru wrote:this is not going to be an easy season. 30 years in football you say? at this rate, the man will be hounded out and it is not going to be pretty. just hope he doesn't drag the club further down as I think his 'miracle' of pulling off the top four will run out this year.
one thing in his defence though - I can see why he only wanted Welbeck on loan and not to waste £16 million on him.
there is a reason that United wanted him out - he is not clinical enough at this level in front of goal.

The only way Arsenal will be able to compete
according to this report Usmanov is now worth double that of Abramovich
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/arsenal-shareh ... te-1465762
about time he was allowed to invest in the team.
I think if he doesnt then this club will never again be able to compete for the title.

Even though I too would be a supporter of usmanov, I dont think that he would be able to improve us tactically or be able to correct our mental frailty

He has already stated that he would keep inspector clueless in charge..
We have money available now he just will not spend it... there is no point in getting Usmanov to invest if we keep the problem. Ie: The tactically inept tight wad Wenger

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
Have to say that I am sick of this "this season he will lose out on top 4" bullshit - for starters this is a weak league so you dont have to be a great team to get top 4, but secondly I'm sick of our season being judged purely on top 4 qualification
I'm sick of our team getting anally raped in the big games but at the end of the season those games are swept under the carpet because we got top 4
The man is a grade A cuntbag who should be fired but of course never will be - people argue that our transfer threads are a waste of time and should be shut down, but they aint any different than this one. The only way this prix is leaving our club is through ill health or in a bodybag...........

I think that this is the year that the bubble bursts for Wenger. We will not get 4th place this year. Now that he has money, he will be found out.

More money is not the answer - we are already spending more.
Playing the right formation and players in the right positions is the problem.

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.
Last night was depressing. I am starting to think that this could be it for Wenger.
No tactics, players in wrong positions, Arteta the DM (wtf?!), Ozil poor again. What does Ox have to do to get in the team?!
Piss poor.

One big money signing aside, is that really true ? The one big signing (sanchez or ozil) disguises the fact that most of our other signings are cheapies or at least cheaper than the other options out there
