Groundhog summer transfer window thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He's one of their few prized assets left, I think the Ultras would go mental if they sold him now
Isn't he injured and out for months?

Yes and also well over-rated, as is Giovinco, another Serie A player we've been linked with.

Perfect, sign him up and wheel him out in front of the fans

I would add that we should wheel out diaby alongside him so he doesn't feel awkward

Just make sure that some plywood sheets are laid down for them, we don't want those wheels cutting into our perfect pitch

Not bad for a link, not the record either though.
The post below was his first link mention on the Forum:

I'll say now, what I said nine months ago......

Draxler isn't coming

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
Twitter gone mad with this Draxler story seems like its higuain all over again
Higuain isn't coming

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
But I seen pictures of his plane flying to London thought it was all done and dusted :?
He's only got six more months of his one year long medical to go before he joins us. 1989 saw him arrive in July at London Colney. That bloke wearing his shirt at Napoli is an impersonator

Don't know why people even think the name Costa. And please God not Giovinco. Ask any Juve fan what they think of him. Don't say you're an Arsenal fan as they'll talk him up to get rid of him. There are plenty Juve players I'd love at Arsenal, but not him.

How many days in January. 30 or 31?

Ah yes, it's 31 so we'll have to wait until 31st January to see if Wenger splashes some cash.

He has rules like:

Substitutes are done at 70mins
Transfers are done on the last day of the window

Does that mean we'd have to board up all the eateries on the Blackstock road? :rubchin: :?
