Cheers Clash....The ugly women were just that - non-people as far as I'm concerned - Not because they were repulsive - It was their 'energy' and attitude' that was ugly - Obviously oblivious to the facts, I really didn't let it or them bother me, I was more concerned that some Gooners in the protest might react and as I said undo a whole load of very good work. I just focused on the job in hand it felt really good to be able to vent just a little of the anger and frustration that I have been feeliing about Wenger and the way the club has tried to totally dis-empower the fans. By doing this - we have proven they have failed.
Which is why I urge All and Any Gooners to get along to the protests even if you have to travel a long way and can only do One Protest it is worth it and will help the cause - beside believe me you'll feel Great!
btw: I did meet a number of Gooners off here but cannot remember their (online names) so apologies if I have miss ed anyone - I had a text earlier to say I had wrongly credited Jumpers *& his Lad for doing the A4 Tick Tock 10 to Two sheets, again I apologise - Jumpers & his lad were distributing them so I thought he had done them.
Excellent interview by Mark as well btw!![]()

For what it's worth I really don't think we should demonstrate if we play the Filth in the semi's or final???? - nor of course at the toilet - those for me is the only No Go Zone/Occasion. Other than that Let's Make the Clueless Fraud Squirm.

Ok 4th place trophy in one hand, big wad of Monopoly money in the otherRetro Gunner wrote:Bob Bayliss wrote:VoiceOfReason wrote:Hiring that Wenger impersonator to walk around with a fourth placed trophy is pure gold. Has my vote!
I am sure we can get some brownie points for injecting some humour in our campaign, which could only attract more to get involved if only for a laugh. We'd get loads to sing "There's only two Arsene Wengers" when they see him......
I was only half joking when I said that a Wenger look-alike might get clumped by the akb's, but you're right Bob, it is a nice idea and funny too. If he is at the front of the protest group, then he'll be safe and to have him carrying a crappy trophy with "4th Place" emblazoned on it would be hilarious.
This is the type of thing that will get right under Wenger's skin, personal stuff that takes the piss out of him. The media love this sort of thing too. While "No New Contract" and "Wenger Out" banners are necessary, they'll roll off the Old Fraud like water off a duck's back, but personal shit like this and about his 8 million a year, his piss poor record against the top six etc, will grate with him and his huge ego.

Artist mate of mine once hired a Del Boy look a like to walk around a Pv of a group show in Manchester he was in, with all the gear cigar etc and a book open "how to bluff your way in the art world " open. Really pissed off the pretentious twats he was showing with

I think anything with a bit of "Wit" attached to it can be more effective than the straight faced stuff, which of course has it rightful place, but as we all know when someone uses wit or humour in a put down, or in an argument it not only shifts the mood, it tends to be the thing that is most often remembered more than anything else.
So if we can come up with a few things of genuine wit and humour they are more likely to have wider publicity in the media, newspapers, twitter etc etc etc...
So all you 'funny peeps' out there in G2G land come on time to flex those grey cells! ( I did hear the LeftfootGooner was funny...not that I've noticed!
)
in the mean-time I've found these masks we can buy..
There's a couple of weker one's:
http://www.celebrity-facemasks.com/sear ... er&x=0&y=0
There's also Football players and managers
http://www.celebrity-facemasks.com/foot ... -managers/
SteveO will be in ***** heaven as there's one of Diaby - thing is it would also need 4 other people to push his hospital gurney..
Can't find one of George Graham yet..I've seen them so they're out there somewhere...

I understand why you say that mate, but it is not so much about going back but a 'reminder' to wenger in that it is another way of winding the *word censored* up - it does also have a certain 'touche d'humour' to it.armchair wrote:Yes to Wenger-a-like with top 4 trophy.

Or maybe masks of as many of the current squad as possible and there are quite few including Alexis, Ozil, Jack Wilshere, BFG etc etc etc - I mean think about it a load of protesters calling for him to go and a good number of those protesters are from his current selected squad.
Re: Wenger Out protest - Sunday 2nd April 14:30 Man City (H)
I'm not feeling this humour thing and hiring Wenger look alike talk. I'm sure it's a joke but let's not turn this into a circus. We are carrying a serious message here and we sung our lungs out for it on Saturday. That seriousness needs to be maintained because it's mostly what's driving the media attention. To March twice in less than a week and the numbers we had is not a feat other initiatives could accomplish.
Re: Wenger Out protest - Sunday 2nd April 14:30 Man City (H)
We do have to be careful of not turning it into a farce. Although having a Top Four Trophy parade at the end of the season would be a laugh, using GG and Alexis masks, perhaps some TOF masks that we ceremonially burn.
The plane is booked for West Brom away, mate.Rugby Gooner wrote:Is the plane for the Citeh game a no go then?Sean wrote:Yes to the billboard, especially if they can get close to the ground. Is it possible to do a message blimp over Cashburton, or is that covered by the no fly zone too?

If so,let me know so I can stop telling people who say,"You Arsenal fans always spit your dummy out, then fall back in line." that it is happening.![]()
To be fair though,I read on a previous post that it was booked from 12-1,so it may not have been effective as it is a 4pm kick off,it would have just been flying over an empty bowl, because most people would be in the local boozers,or in the case of the Tourists,in the club shops.

The conglomerates is a no fly zone, hence the WBA away. I imagine there could be some journos blaming Gooners for disloyalty away so it needs to be emphasised

Think that I agree with you there buddy - I would be afraid that the humour aspect would cheapen and belittle the seriousness of our anger and frustration with the French c.unt

Are we going with the mobile Billboard or not. I know Augie is on board...what about the rest of you?? We have enough to cover the plane and the billboard....lets do that, plus we get the balloons for the Man City game and perhaps the beach balls for an away game. That would work as the lads would all be together in the ground and the away ground staff would probably be a lot more tolerant that Wenger's SS guards at Cashburton.
We need to decide what goes on either side of the board as well.
I think in Wenger we Rust goes on the back. The production costs are more than the actual Billboard so lets go BIG and be creative.
