I would personally go for Diego Simeone who would really shake the club up

sadly it is not going to happen

Can't we get Simeone just to beat up Wenger and some of the players surely that's got to be worth a couple of million

I've never felt so indifferent to our results and how we are faring across all comps. It has all become so pointless tbh. You just know how our big games will end and pretty much know how our season will pan out. Well, except for this season, where I'm expecting us to miss out on the VT. The luck has to run out at some point, surely?

I wonder though, what spiel will the disciples churn out in defence of their lord and master then?

There is no defence for Wenger's transfer policy and tactics.

That's why his defenders ( ) will deflect and not come up with any rational answer. like his defenders.

yup. thats what i said on the Villa Thread. he always scrapes through... :banghead:

i was thinking about him last night - i think his singular biggest failing that costs us the most, is his failure to work on what we do when we don't have the ball. the whole wenger philosophy is based around players that enjoy possession of the ball, how they keep possession and what they do with it, focusing on our strengths, developing and playing our own game, allowing our players freedom of expression etc.

which is all very noble, but that whole idea falls apart if you can't get the ball, if you can't defend counter attacks, or free kicks or corners, if you don't press high up, if you don't protect your centre backs etc etc.

to allow a team like dortmund 30 shots is appalling. really shocking. had they had a suarez, costa, ronaldo, van persie, we would have been looking at 6 or 7-0 again.

it also explains why we can't beat wigan, hull, leicester, blackburn, bradford etc - his narrow minded singular philosophy only looks at our possession not theirs.

pees.

Winning the FA Cup is the worst thing that could have happened to this club. It just extended the misery under this dinosaur.

sorry but as much as I hate Wenger I can't accept that argument.
we won a trophy which was fantastic. it was a great weekend.

what extends the misery though is the continual qualification for the Champions League.
we have got no hope of winning it and all it does is give Wenger an excuse for not winning the league as we are always a leetle bit jaded. :banghead:

its not the worst, but its up there. sadly, the scraped wins that followed excellent performances by the reserves, provided the mistaken justification of wengers methods and AKB support.

The problem isn't we won a pot, it was the offer of a renewed contract. the club redefines and encourages failure.

on the plus side, the papers were very very critical of our performance on Tuesday night. pens are ready for Saturday.

go look up how many small teams like Wigan and Pompey have won the FA cup in the last 9 years.

or teams like Everton and even West Ham have gotten to the finals.

so you mean to say that one of the top 10 richest clubs in the world with the highest ticket prices in Britain shouldn't be more successful?

ridiculous.

when's the youth project going to end?

Cant complain about a day out at Wemberlee and a real trophy in the cabinet at last. Its what weve been crying out for for years. Thought it would have been the springboard and tastd of success our club needed to push on and become a force again.
Unfortunately Wenger is holding us back, the whole club, selling everyone short with his ego trip and stubbornness.
Afraid the FA Cup win bought Wenger a new lucrative contract, lifted the monkey from our backs but masked the fact (from some) that all his flaws and failings still stink the whole club out.

Jesus not the Gervinho crap again. The bloke was just utter utter utter gash. He played in a wing forward position which seems to be the obvious position for him.

The only way we'd have got the best out of him is if we started playing in a doss league like Ligue 1 or Serie A instead.
