Even at 3-0 not a single audible chant of There's Only One......can someone who was there put me out of my misery and reassure me that the love is still there ?

Considering how much game time he gets those of us lucky enough to watch him on Tuesday will effectively be watching the highest paid player in the world!

A tenner to watch poetry in motion......everyone there should consider themselves lucky. A true "I was there" moment as the bravest player at the club makes his comeback

Personally the total figure is irrelevant - I prefer to look at individual players/coaches/manager and then judge in my own opinion as to whether they are justifying their wage. Players like PV4, the Great Dennis Bergkamp and TA6 could write their own cheques as far as I was concerned, because they delivered on the pitch almost every single time and in big games too - these days we are paying players big money and most of these players have the backbone of a worm as they hide in almost every single fcuking big game and who show almost zero passion/feeling for the club :x It seems no club employee is expected to justify the wage they are earning :x :(

Interesting interview with Cesc in the Sunday rag, he confirms Arsenal had a buy back option but were not interested. He also confirmed that he has sent Wonga texts wishing him a happy birthday and congratulating him on 1000 games for Arsenal and Wonga has never even replied. He said Wonga has not spoken to him at all. It doesn't surprise me.
Arsene Wonga is an egotistical, self important, blinkered old fool who constantly does things a certain way....his way, not because they are necessarily the best for the club but they are the best things for HIM because he is all important and no-one knows any better, I do believe he actually goes against what other 'experts' or pundits/people say because no-one can tell him what to do. I hate the man so much it's unhealthy.

Why should Wenger talk to him or text or contact him.in any way ,wasn't too long ago Wenger got flak(and rightly so) for hugging van Judas at old Trafford and this forum went into meltdown.Cesc plays for the chavs not us.

Ffs this shit tht arsene or us fans should be all pally with *word censored* who decided to leave us is a load of bollocks.

Personally I don't give a shit if Wenger is a miserable prick in his private life and I don't have an issue with him being rude to ex-players or whatever. If he wanted to ignore Fabregas whilst he was at Barcelona or now he's at Chelsea then fine, his choice and I certainly don't have a problem with it.

But the issue here is that the story gives credence to the view that Wenger didn't sign him because of his own ego and personal reasons. It's all fine and well saying that Fabregas isn't our player but the point is he would have been if it wasn't for Wenger's bruised ego.

Thing is give it a season or two and Santi will be on his way - I would rate Fabregas above Santi (as good as he can be) any day...Wenger was wrong not to sign him - we had the money so he cannot use that as a reason - and Fabregas is playing brilliantly for the chavs in his preferred position - Now there's a surprise  - and for Fabregas to come out and say that Wenger has not responded to any of his communiques is not like him to bring his private life into the public domain... :|

Edit: Had we signed Fabregas he would have stayed with us for the remainder of his career, and he has at least another 8 seasons in him.

To the long list of criticisms aimed at Wenger, we can now include his refusal to reply to a text sent by an ex-player...you can't make this shit up

Are you suggesting that le cock is blanking cesc for fear of a fan backlash ?? The only way your defence of wenker stands up here is if he genuinely doesn't acknowledge cesc for that reason, and I think we all know that wenger does what he likes  Wengers refusal to correspond to cesc is personal and only a fool would think otherwise (and that aint aimed at you mc), so whether we agree or not with his bum fcuking rvp at old shatford, the reality is that le cock has no issue with rvp joining our rivals but takes offence at cesc wanting to go to his hometown club in spain  :x I have no probs if a manager decides to ignore all of his former players but to treat cesc differently than rvp is a fcuking disgrace and confirms his status as a cuntbag manager who shuns anybody who refuses to believe that the sun shines out of his arse

Thts not my suggestion at all Augie, cesc doesnt play for us anymore and people getting the hump because Wenger doesn't reply to his texts is wht is stupid.Imagine the same people whinging about Wenger not talking to cesc and then next month when the chavs beat us will be berating Wenger if he's seen hugging cesc.

The point I think I'm trying to make is people's hatred of Wenger leads them to moan about every insignificant little thing.

By all means have a go at his tactics, players he bought or didn't buy,his use of certain players ,his unwillingness to strength en to address the defender shorts age/dm ,but to have a go at him for not talking to an ex player in my mind is petty, which suits the agenda of his haters.

I dont hate the man, I respect wht he did for the club but like the vast majority on here I want him gone.

I know that's not what you meant mc, but the point I'm making is that nobody would complain about his blanking cesc IF he had of treated rvp the same way. When we play manure in a few weeks, do you expect that he will blank rvp ?
