I wonder how many pages there will be to this thread come the Summer of 2017 when the Self Harmer finally steps into the Director of Football role awarded to him in honour of his 12 years without a trophy

Re: Arsene Wenger Points of View.
What annoyed the fuck out of me was Santos taking rvp's shirt at half time and the general attitude of the team towards him before the game. Would Tony Adams or Martin Keown have done the same, would they fuck.
Back in the day, ex players used to get a kick up the backside.
As for chanting, "your a Cee U next Tuesday Robin", for me that shows a lack of class. RVP left our club because he couldnt see us winning trophies before he ends his career, if Arse where challenging for honours every season he wouldn't have left simple as. He got offered £300k a week to play for city, and went to manure, whats the difference? We aren't on a par with manure so why should we feel soo bitter about it, AND hes not mouthed off about it like Ade, Cashley and ladyboy.
Rather than venting our footy rage at ex players isnt about time we started on the board. After all Kroenke, Gazidis et al are responsible for our current plight.

Re: Arsene Wenger Points of View.
Arsenal nowdays in nothing else but CULT and Wenger is its leader. That much is clear to see to anyone visiting Emirates. His third rate philosophy is scribbled everywhere inside stadium, on the walls, on the fucking banners...his face is everwhere, on the walls, on the fucking banners....every criticism of Wenger and his players is not acceptable inside Emirates and that's why nowdays homecrowd greatly resembles 50 000+ Wengers CULT followers, and few who can still see clearly will soon be replaced by brainwashed, I'm afraid.

Re: Arsene Wenger Points of View.
At least some of the media are realising that project Wenger is failing..that might concentrate the clubs mind because the anger of the fans never will. Having said that there is not enough anger from the fans. There is a contentment within Arsenal F.C. that has turned into a malaise. This is down to Kronke and his yes men. Wenger falls into that category, a football man of principal would walk away from Arsenal , but Wenger blames the world and it's mother rather than look at the problem logically. That problem to me is asset stripping , of all the top players we have lost I believe only Cesc Fabregas was unavoidable (maybe) . The others we can take false comfort from by accusing them of being money grabbers. Well maybe they are but with the exception of Adebayor they have also improved their medal collection (No doubt RVP will sooner rather than later) since leaving. There are 22,000 reasons why Arsenal should be challenging for the top prizes. That was the promise, the promise was broken and that is unforgivable. Wenger is the face of this mess, he and those pulling his strings must go or we will be a Newcastle of a few years back. Even on the last day of the season they were too big to go down. OK maybe Arsenal will not fall so low but falling out of contention for the top prizes is falling too low for me but sadly not for Arsenal FC.

Wenger - We did not buy in haste last year
Arsène Wenger has defended the business he did in the wake of last year’s defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Arsenal manager signed Mikel Arteta, Per Mertesacker, Yossi Benayoun, Andre Santos and Ju Young Park before the close of the transfer window in the days following that 8-2 loss.
Some suggested those additions were made as a direct result of the Gunners’ heavy defeat, but Wenger insists he did not buy in haste.
“That’s what people said, but if you look at who we bought we got Mertesacker,” the manager said. “We were criticised a lot for that, but today who would still criticise us for that?
“We bought Arteta, who was a very important player [last season] and still is a very important player for the team.
“We brought in Benayoun, who was very influential at the end of the season for us. We bought Santos and Park. So overall, we have not done badly.
“We bought five players in two days. Park didn’t work, didn’t get his chance, but he’s doing very well at Celta Vigo.”
That's OK then. We bought Arteta who has been outstanding, Mertesacker seems to have pleased everybody except me so I can only assume he is doing well, Benayoun was a loan deal Wenger you cretin, Santos has been disgraceful and our 'super quality' goalscoring sensation is doing OK at Celta Vigo
Yes, that really seems like a day of considered buying (and loaning) by the club. We should all be very grateful

Re: Arsene Wenger Points of View.
My feelings today are not even anger anymore. Just a terrible feeling of hopelessness. We have years of this fucking shit ahead of us.
The Dark Lord's "management" yesterday was appalling. Fuck a plan B or tactics, he can't even get it right BEFORE we step on the pitch never mind whilst the game is on! Walcott has his best game in an Arsenal jersey, so now his confidence is up, The Genius Arsene Wenger benches him and plays Ramsey, a player that has been ultra-shit for 2 years now, and plays him OUT OF FUCKING POSITION too!! Ramsey, our right winger spent the whole game in the centre. You couldn't make this up.
He persists with this ludicrous zonal marking bollocks which was directly responsible for the manc filth's second goal with Mert wandering out of his zone. ZONAL DOES NOT WORK FOR FUCKS SAKE!!
He dropped a quickly improving and developing Jenko for an unfit Sagna who was absolute dogshit yesterday - ok on his way back from injury but he was piss and clearly not match fit.
But dear God, what I really don't get is how does he think the slow talentless Santos is a PL quality footballer? The guy is appalling as a defender and bollocks to this "well he's ok going forward" shite too - he ain't!
Swing over to Rednose. He gets his team to run at our weakest link Santos almost non stop. What? Tactics? WTF?! And, genius this, doesn't man mark Cazorla like most would, but gets Rooney to man mark ARTETA. He effectively killed our attacks before they could even begin. This showed just how vital Arteta has become to us, and how a manager with a knowledge of tactics can easily snuff us out.
Wenger out.

Wenger out.
The decision to keep playing Santos at left back was suicidal - I'd rather play Vermaelen, Sagna or Miguel there. At least TRY something different, because it's clear to everyone (apart from Wenger) that Santos is being targeted and completely out of his depth.
And playing out of form Ramsey (is he ever IN form?

It was a dreadful performance, but Wenger is sabotaging us from within with his tactical master-classes.
Then you have the lack of options in midfield brought about by injuries to Diaby and Rosicky... I mean really, who ever could have predicted that?

As for the goalkeeping situation - ffs, just copy and paste our concerns from any time in the last 4 years. Nothing has changed.

Ridiculous.

Re: Arsene Wenger Points of View.
Apathy.
Wenger will not be sacked even if we fail to win the 4th place trophy. The last two seasons (some will say longer) those of us with brains have known before a ball is kicked that we're not in a title race. So what are we playing for in the league? Qualification for a competition we wont win and more money which we'll either bank or use to give pay rises to dross? So we went to old toilet and were noticeably inferior... at least we kept it from being a cricket score. Defeats like that used to hurt more when I had any hope that we could get something from the game and that doing so would keep us in a title race.
The idea of sitting around venting my spleen about Wenger is becoming more boring by the day. He is a big part of the problem but far from all of it. This wont make me popular but at least with Wenger I get the impression he's bothered by how shit we've become. I would welcome his resignation/sacking if it happened tomorrow but I just dont find him as easy to hate as most people around here. Kroenke, Gazidis, Hill-wood and some of our gormless players on the other hand..
