It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Sounds like Comrade is getting ready to come up with the Diaby is fit and ready late next week followed by the 'not any value in the market' and the Feb 1st injury of Diaby for the season.

Makes you wonder if Diaby ever really existed, or was it merely in our imagination? Does Wenger really hold the keys to the Matrix and we have only just woken up?

If he never existed then who was that shadow-like streak of piss who scored that class goal at Villa on Boxing Day 2008 back in our infancy of blowing 2-goal leads? :rubchin:

Serious question: how do we go about signing players nowadays?
Here's the process.....

Wenger gets Grimandi to look in the French leagues for soemone who has had one good season....

Wenger offers shit loads of cash for said mediocre player, and the French club bite his hand off

Wenger decides the wages of the new player, starting at 50k and rising if he has actually played more than 1 international

Wenger plays him in the first team despite being utter shite until the fans boo the players every touch

Wenger eventually drops said shite player

Wenger loans out the shite player to a mid table european club who cannot afford his wages

Wenger lets them go for free or run down their contract and go for nothing

That sums up the Arsenal transfer policy 2012/2013

Personally I'd only be happy if we signed Messi as he is the only upgrade on what we have :barscarf:

Don't open the floodgates Maccy D, you manage to find enough Arsenal-related shite to post on here and we're the most transfer-shy club around so if this turns into a general rumours thread you'll have to take this up as a full-time job

What's gone wrong with that guy? A year or two ago United were sniffing around and £30m+ was being quoted. Is he now available at the "right price" or are Galatasaray offering a 'dizzying price' of something like 8m?
