Not exactly a shock revelation though is it ? I mean he is highly regarded in the game in a position where we have a vacancy so logically we were likely to be linked with him. He made his name at bruighton (I think) but events since he left suggests that it is the brighton system rather than individuals that continue to bear fruit for them. He did a good job with the barcodes and they didnt want to lose him, but unlike DB10 I wouldnt rule him out based on his manure stint cos that place is an absolute fiasco

PS we're also getting linked with Calvert Lewin as a possible signing in January

If we sign him then I'm joining ranks with Augie and Retro and calling for the head of whoever wanted to sign the useless injury prone Cuntbag.Midz wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2024 4:32 pmHe's not that good, i hope we don't.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2024 3:35 pm

Sky say that the guardian are reporting that rosicky is a leading contender to replace edu
'Rosicky a leading contender to take over as sporting director'
Tomas Rosicky is a leading contender to become Arsenal’s sporting director, according to the Guardian.
The former Gunners midfielder has been sporting director at Sparta Prague since 2018 and any return to north London would likely be put on hold until the end of the season as a result.
The report claims the 44-year-old remains in touch with manager Mikel Arteta and academy boss Per Mertesacker.
The Guardian say talks are understood to be continuing and Rosicky is thought to be ready for a new challenge.
How fcuking long does it take our club to replace edu ??? I mean he must be gone two months now and yet we dont seem to be any closer to replacing him - dragging it out to use as an excuse for a lack of transfer activity this month maybe ??

Deal is done, with all terms understood to be agreed.
An official announcement is expected in the coming weeks, I’m told.
Ex-Atletico Madrid sporting director Andrea Berta was the club’s back-up option.
