As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
It's a proper Arsenal kit, best for a while in my humble opinion.
Although not keen on the 3rd kit which is white if rumours are to be believed. We shouldn't wear white, ever!
I've said it on here before Nick, but white was our change strip historically. At least for a period, or periods. Haven't looked up the precise detail, but we did wear white.
I suppose it depends on how far you go back in time. Certainly from the 70's when I first started watching it was yellow and blue except for the odd change, such as the green and blue monstrosity. But now in the quest for shirt sales anything goes. Change kit should be yellow and blue for me.
My view is that the scum up the road wear white so we shouldn't be anywhere near it.
I have no recollection of us playing in a white change strip, it was before my time, but it was the kit. To be honest, I’d have no problem with a white jersey and red shorts, which used to be Liverpool’s away kit…don’t know if it still is.
I’ve never really liked the yellow and blue and I think I’m the only person at in that liked the blue and green kit!

Loved the blue and green kit - an iconic kit up alongside the bruised banana for me
Top was White with a subtle Marble-like effect running through it... a bit like the Gothic weaving in the New Top. Funnily enough there aren't too many pictures of it....there's this one from that Photo shoot on the underground when my mate got TH14's autograph...
And this one with Adebayor the CŨNT and Senderos who I remember getting Rag-dolled by the Chavs DogBreath in the League Cup Final.. after Feo had put us ahead...
Always thought the One -Off of the Green & Dark Blue looked Proper Old Skool... really nice

It seems that you share a lot of ideas about football with me, augie old mate. Not sure what that says about you, but others will no doubt have an opinion.

If Theo had moved just two letters to his right, then the caption would have been bang on.

We should never wear a white jersey. I too love the old seventies yellow jersey and blue shorts and I adored that green and blue kit in the early eighties!

It's am iconic moment thing for me. OBG mentioned Charlie George at Wembley, but there was also Alan Sunderland in the 79 final with his goal at the last knockings and of course Michael Thomas "it's up for grabs now". And for some reason I always picture Chippy Brady in blue and yellow
