Why did Liverpool spend 80 million on Darwin Nunez when they have Jota and Firminho?

Why did City spunk 100 million on Grealish when they had Foden, Silva, Mahrez and Sterling?

Why did Sp*rs spend 60 million on Richarlison when they have Son?

It is bonkers that people are losing their sh*t over us signing a winger when it is clear that Pepe is being loaned out. Last year Saka and ESR's form tanked in the second half of the season owing to tiredness and injuries. This year is a world cup year and Saka is expected to start most of England's games. Given the number of games that Saka is expected to play this season and the way teams have been kicking the day lights out of him, it would have been negligence not to get a back up or even a competition for him. Vieira does not appear to have been signed to play as a winger, he is versatile who can be a back up/competition to Odegaard or play the Xhaka position. Marquinhos is not signed for the first team so unless he does a Martinelli, he will be going out on loan in January or next season.

People may have their favourites but the thought that any player no matter how good they are should not be challenged with competition is a bit dense.

Answer 1 - cos they have no striker/no proper number 9. Firmino was a bit part player last season in case you havent noticed, and klopp seems to think he is on the decline. Contrast that to every single one of our wingers who are all young and on the way up

Answer 2 - cos they can. City have that much money that they can afford to spunk that much money on an over-rated cheating brummie c.unt - we dont have the same resources and need to be more selective with how we spend money

Answer 3 - the scum have 3 players for the front 3 positions and zero back up of any quality. We have FIVE wingers already, but if you want to play championship manager and spend money cos it is fashionable, you go ahead

People asking stupid questions and not comparing two similar situations is more than a bit dense - if we had quality everywhere then no matter who you bring in will make competition fierce, but when you have a shit swiss c.unt as first choice centre midfielder, then only someone mentally challenged would argue that the number 8 position isnt the priority

Did anyone here say that we don't need a central midfielder and that it isn't a priority? To not be able to comprehend that advocating signing a winger doesn't mean that anyone is against signing a CM as a priority is a bit dense.

If we can make tis a Quote Tower can that grade be increased to a B ?

I was wondering the same thing:

I mean he has said that he "wants to come to Arsenal" - but so would anyone grab onto something if the ship is sinking; which it looks like Leicester might well be doing this season.

And because Brenda made quite a number of unsuccessful signings last season, those players are on bloated wages which is why no one will take them off his hands and so the Leicester owners have said he will need to off-load the deadwood (on high wages) to reduce the wage bill before they can sign any new players, hence the no signings this window. The only players going out are the decent one's, but as to whether Teilmeanns is 'decent' is another question. What I have seen of him he looks good; at least better than Clive for starters. But Paqueta (sp?) from Lyon is a decent (attacking) Mid-fielder and I thought we were also meant to be interested in signing him.
