I agree with that. Last summer offered him a rare opportunity to walk away with his head held high. Although we all know it's been a pathetic few years from him, the narrative would have just about held firm that he' selflessly guided us through the financial troubles of the last decade and out safely the other side where he bought our first mega-signing (Ozil for £42m) and won the FA Cup before handing over the reigns.

Instead, he foolishly signed a new contract and has condemned Arsenal to another 3 years of purgatory and gets a front row seat as Mourinho owns him for the next 3 years.

As SteveO once said.. the guy is a self harmer. It is however scandalous that he's allowed to take us all down with him.

fuck me... we've still got nearly 3 more years (and possibly more) of this shit yet to come
Long time little posting mate. Seems like you've lost the last of your patience with him...
Yeah, I'm out of optimism mate. Signing a new contract then sending us into the winter with 6 defenders, no holding midfielder worthy of the name and seeing Fabregas in a chavs shirt is too much. :|

The only positive is that Frankie got through on Strictly Come Dancing tonight. That dress she had on tonight was epic :D

I have personally felt a huge decrease in motivation and passion this year. I just can't understand how he and other people can't see these things.

Not saying any other manager in the world would be a guarantee of success but very few other managers would offer the same guaranteed non-competing. Ultimately what is the point in qualifying for the CL if we're never going to win it and not even try and use it as a springboard to win the league? It makes Tuesdays/Wednesdays in October and November mildly less boring and means we don't play endless Sunday afternoon games. That's it.

i always wonder if Ivan in the privacy of his own mind thinks "im fed up answering for this twats fuck ups" and would also love to see him gone...but then remembers who it was that hired him and quietly accepts his salary?

hmmm!! interesting, Motd 2 run through yesterdays goals, including ours, afterwards the presenter says cryptically "Arsene Wenger's full post page interview is on the BBC website" and then he goes onto to chat to Hartson and shearer about the usual yawn!! topics how we need a DN and extra centre back etc. adding this to the bizzare way AW's interview was cut last night, to give no context whatsover, it's very odd. If i was a paranoid person i would wonder if the Arsenal press office have got onto the BBC and censored what is broadcast of the Oatley interview.

kept them back an hour an then banned them from speaking to the media. :rubchin:

i think this is the most criticism he has faced - i think media as a whole smell blood in the water, though the pro-arsene media are talking about a BIG spend in January.

two more poor performances and i think the gloves will be off. we are 7th, level on points with the might of Stoke.

if we fail to beat the mackems, i'd lay even money wenger refuses to speak to the bbc or sends bouldy out.

but here is the problem - the next 4 games (Sunderland, Burnley and a double header v Anderlecht) are arguably the easiest of the season. I have been somewhat negative this season but even I can't see us not winning those. Hull City is difficult in comparison to those matches. Then there is another international break and by the time we face Man United all criticism will have been forgotten.

As pessimistic as I am, even with a Bertie Bassett back 4 (all sorts) I thought we would find a way to take all 3 points on Saturday.
Are Hull that good? I would be amazed if they finish in the top 8.
With the memory of Mert getting mugged by a 3rd rate striker from a cross I see a few more of these (on paper) inferior opponents looking to try the same.
The recovery (it seems) relies on the fitness of Kos, never realised how heavily we depend on him. Without him, any team will fancy their chances of scoring against us.
Really sick of Clueless's whining about teams only having 3 attempts on goal and then sitting back, teams have been doing that to us for years, to complain about it only invites more of them to do the same.

The make up and type of teams that win the premiership has never changed. Powerful, quick, intimidating, a bit dirty, plenty of skill.

Wenger has just turned into a complete fuckwit in thinking he could do it a different way. He's proved that he can't do it but to make it worse, he's continuing down the same road.

The real car crash hasn't happened yet but when it does, Wenger will walk away and leave us the wreckage.

something has definitely changed amongst the journalists this season - they smell blood.

looking at the fixture list, we could have some very uncomfortable games in early December - Southampton at home, Stoke away, Galatasaray away. They are not the sort of matches you want to be playing with a patched up squad.

We will "achieve" the 4th place trophy in the last game of the season and the meeja and the AKB sheep will hail it as Arsene's greatest ever achievement ever, because like we were like all 7th the week before and now we are like back in the CL and stuff. Yip-fucking-ee.

He will still be here in 2017. And a good possibility he will sign another 3 year extension then. Certainly if the non-questioning Sir Chips Fucktard has his way... :|

I dont see us fnishing top 4. What has always has saved us, is the ability to be flat track bullies against the dross in the league, well so far, we have already dropped points against Hull, Leicester, and Spurs, and yes Spurs are shit, as City proved on Saturday. Not to mention the fact, that our defence has kept one clean sheet this season. Also, i can see Liverpool spending big in January, while penny pinching Arsene will look for a defender on loan, and expect it to solve all our problems.

And last season we dropped points against Villa (home), West Brom, Stoke and Swansea (home) as well as dropping points home and away against a shite manure side that no one feared and that the other top teams (and a good few of the shit teams) all beat.

Nothing's changed. We always have a few clangers. Same old same old. The point for me is that the PL is quite weak, there are only 3 teams better than us over a season; Citeh, Chav$ and possibly the Mousers if they spend in January.

Not only will we get 4th, we might even stumble our way to 3rd. But of course it'll be 3rd with us about 20 points behind the champions. :|
