Unfeckingbelievable, 100k a week for Theo, effectively rating him as one of our very best players. The Club will be pleased to keep the clueless Wally Shirt Buying Ticket Exchange tourists happy :banghead:

One things for sure tho, Theo lacks "little bit quality"

Last summer it was one signing for every 100 pages in this thread, right?

So 14 pages to go and we'll sign some Super Quality Misfit! Yeeha!

Sneijder is overrated. Couldn't hack it at Madrid and only really got fame when he won the CL with Milan.

I'm frustrated too but we need to buy the right players. We were linked with David Villa for 14m. That's absurd and counterproductive. Likewise Sneijder is on huge amounts of money and that is not a good omen. If he comes over I reckon there is no guarentee he will bother to try that hard esp when he knows he wont win anything. I would of liked us to have signed Demba Ba. Think we missed out there. Hell we could of got him for free 18 months ago. That's inexcusable really.

Judging by what's tweeting on Sky I think even his super quality is beyond us

Mainz have slapped a €20m price tag on Adam Szalai. The Hungarian forward is reportedly a target for Arsenal in the transfer window.

How many days before we hear how hard the club are trying but how the crazy prices are preventing deals, followed up by the 5th year in a row of predicting that football's bubble will burst and everyone will soon be bankrupt (ignoring the point that Chelsea have less debt than us)

I'm afraid the prices in this transfer window are just too dizzying for ODL. :banghead:

So the only player we have put any value on this transfer window is Theo  We all agree he is inconsistent, when he shines he burns bright, but just not too often. I have no problem with the guy getting his money, at the end of the day if the club feel he is worth it then fair play to him.

My problem is this, if Wenger is using him to send out a message to the world that Arsenal no longer sell om their best, then his stance has come way too late! He should have played hard ball with Cesc, Nasri and without doubt RvP. Wenger's decision to say Theo is the tipping point just leaves us looking pathetic and desperate.

He is telling us Theo is great value in a market with no value, yet Villa is poor value, accepting we were really in for him at any point, in Wengers crazy, mixed up mind.

If Theo is worth 25 million then Fellaini at 'only' 22 million looks like the bargain of the decade!!!!
