As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Scum doing what they do. Winning fucking nothing. Also, doesn't this mean that they'll manage to complete the second shortest season it's possible to do? 38 league games, out in their first league Cup game, no European matches and out in two FA Cup matches? I make that 41 matches when 40 is the shortest possible. Fucking hilarious.

End of October - greatest start in their history
End of January- season over
Ange mate has revolutionised the club, they’re on an upward trajectory, they’re fucking this, they’re fucking that, they’re the fucking other. And then they go get rag dolled again.
Fucking sickening listening to the media narrative about that lot, they’re fucking shite.

Well that's Ange Football for you.
It's piss funny as it always is with the shadow Dwellers from Middlesex!
And there was the media mongs making out that Fat Angie Hippopotamusadopolus was the living embodiment of Herbert Chapman, George Graham, early Arsene Wenger, Rednose Ferguson and Bob Paisley all rolled into one!

Very sad what’s happened to the FA Cup but when you only have 4 of the 16 matches kicking off at 3pm on a Saturday then is it really any wonder that interest in it is at an all time low?
Spoke to a Sheffield Wednesday fan this morning who said there were just 14,000 last night for their match v Coventry and said that the fan base had been completely turned off by not having the match on a Saturday afternoon.
It wasn’t on TV so why on earth was it played on a Friday night ??

When I was a kid, the FA Cup was more important than winning the league. Probably because it was live on TV and you saw your team lift a trophy.
It was so good to see the Arsenal reach 3 consequetive finals in the late 70s when I was 10/11 years old. Not forgetting the ECWCl final.
Now the Prem League, UEFA, FIFA are only interested in the readies
Fair play to Maidstone United today though - great win !
But….the impact would have been greater if the matches were not spread out as much as they are these days.
Captained by ex Gunner youth product Gavin Hoyte
I’m led to believe Ipswich made 10 changes, not sure any club can afford to underestimate opponents like that, especially one that was in League 1 last season.

It was like a blast from the past as minnows pulled off a great cup shock and I loved watching the last 20 mins or so of it - showing all premier league ties on tv (like the scum v city last night) is a disgrace when they playing each other twice a season in the league anyway Give the public a game like todays game (and newport game tomorrow) where the minnows are at home with possibility of upseting the big boys - yes I know in most cases it wont happen, but at least it is something different to the mundane all premier league games where the teams know each other inside out already and in most cases the game is treated as an irrelvance

As a kid in Australia it was the one night in the year we were allowed stay up late to watch the cup final live. When my folks moved us back to Oireland I was thrilled to be an hours flight away from Wembley. I still love the FA Cup even though modern fooble wànkers have all but killed it.
