I would have loved to have him, but looks like he's off to the Chavs.

Its from those *word censored* at caughtoffside so there's a good chance it might be bullshit but if their quoting from someone else then it gives things a bit more credibility.
IF this is true then I think its an absolute steal at £22m. He is exactly the sort of player we need but of course he doesnt suit the requirements to play the sacred Wengerball so fuck that.

Ok. So we won't need him for one, maybe two games?

Liverpool are able to cancel the loan during the January transfer window but only with the agreement of both Sahin and Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants don't want to recall him but are understood to be frustrated by his lack of game time and would be happy to see him move to another club this month.
Aww gawd no.
All that talk about Nuri Sahin he turned out to be shit .
Because he didnt work out at the bin dippers ?

Seriously ? Just cos he hasnt worked out playing with that shower of shite dont make him a bad player. As it goes I dont know if he would be good enough or not but my impression (from limited viewing I should add) is that himself and joe allen are similar players looking to do the same job so it wouldnt have worked out then.
I should add that david villa is only a sub for barca but he would improve our team by at least 50%
If he can't get in ahead of Joe Allen then that tells its own story...
Just another player like Dempsey who people were livid we didn't sign but has ultimately failed to perform to expectations at his new club. I very much imagine we'll be adding Holtby to that list in a year or so.
Rodgers is hoist by his own arrogant petard though re Allen, as he's wasted £15m on him whereas Sahin cost nothing. He has a reputation to preserve so I can see why he will persevere with Allen but it doesn't mean Sahin is shit.
Dempsey scored 23(?) goals as the main man at Fulham but can't get a game now, wrong move for him.
It is difficult to predict sometimes who'll be a success/flop at whichever club, unless we're talking about Gervinho, everybody knew he was gash from minute one.

Agreed Dan
£22m for a player with less than half the talent of our own talisman

Even Sky's paper talk section (which is normally full to the brim with absolute bollocks) is struggling to come with any rumours for us
Today's only effort
London rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham are all tracking another Toulouse midfielder, Etienne Capoue.
The window will come and go just like all the others.....but don't worry there'll be assurances in April / May from Uncle Ivan that he'll expect us to very active in the Summer transfer market. Just you send in your ST renewal money and he'll be true to his word - honest guv

The same talisman who's been out for 3 months after
kicking the ball? It's a shame, but that tackle by no-mark Dan Smith would've ended Diaby's career in an earlier era. I think it's time to cut our losses and move him to a less physical league.
As he's Wenger's favourite we won't though.

According to reports in the Independent, Arsenal are prepared to sell Bacary Sagna in the summer and are considering French Ligue 1 champions, Montpellier defender, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa as a potential replacement.

ARSENAL and Tottenham target Alvaro Negredo is on the verge of completing a big-money move to the Premier League.
According to reports in Spain, Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido flew to London today to finalise the sale of the 27-year-old.
It is thought the La Liga club are hoping to earn at least £15million from the sale of the striker, as they look to combat their financial difficulties.
Both Arsenal and Tottenham have been heavily-linked with a move for the former Real Madrid player, who yesterday revealed his desire to move to England.

Isn't going out of your way to sell players more the kind of thing we'd do?

A rumour going about that ODL is looking to send Jenkinson out on loan to Crystal Palace in order to get him first team football for when Sagna leaves in the summer.
Normally when you hear something that makes so little sense you dismiss it as bullshit but this sort of move has Wenger written all over it.

Negredo is a good but not great striker and I dont really see him as the missing link for up front but of course I could be wrong (rarely happens but still

)
Sky Sports website has revealed that m'vila has asked for a transfer from rennes and they have agreed to his request and suggested that it is likely that he is going to either england or russia. I dont know enough about the guy to give a definitive opinion tbh but from what I am led to believe he is a midfield ball winner/enforcer which is exactly what we need. I know that he has had disciplinary issue's last year but it might be the right time to move for him now cos by all accounts his form has dipped since and he wants a new scene so his focus might be back where it needs to be

Welbeck is horrible. He's like Gervinho - no composure whatsoever.
