Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas could be on the verge of a move to Arsenal. The Gunners have offered £14m ($18m) for Navas, in the hope that he can serve as a long-term replacement for veteran 'keeper Petr Cech.

Doubt that there is even a tennty tiny bit of truth to that story, but if it is true then I will be well fcuked off :x For starters leno hasnt been given enough time to adapt to the english game (it took de gea a full season), secondly it would be taking away significant funds from a limited budget that needs to be spent elsewhere, but thirdly why buy a keeper who would be the same size and stature as ospina and about as useful too

Can't disagree with any of that Augs. Seems like more of a summer signing.

Apparently Čech is on £100k a week.

Navas is on £85k a week.

We're interested along with the two Madrid clubs. Contract expires in 18 months time and only an €18 million buy out clause.

Normally when you watch a clip like this you see a highlight reel that portrays a player as being far better than reality, and you think the guy must be top quality..........this is not one of these clips :o I see absolutely nothing in that highlights clip that would make me think that he is good enough for a everton or shammers level of club, much less one of the top clubs

PSG's Rabiot is not interested in a move to spurs - he only wants a 'big club'.

Looks like Ramsey's off to Juve on a free. One of the few players we could have actually got some money for. When it comes to buying and selling we must be the most incompetent club in the PL :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

no doubt about that, was it not Wenger who had the crazy theory that if you let a contract run down the player will try harder....fucking lunatic

Media have had little interest in plugging this unlike any time one of our lot gets into their final two years, but Eriksen has 18 months to run on his deal.

Spurs have been excellent in signing up their best players to really long term deals so he clearly doesn’t want to sign - at this point anyway. If he doesn’t sign before the end of the year they’ll sell him.

Brilliant little player. Must be a massive worry for them in terms of losing him but also this being the start of the massive pressure on them to keep players. Somehow they’ve flown under the radar but at some point they will surely get Barca or Madrid (or City) bullying them about Kane.

he would be a huge miss for them and with less than 2 years left they will not get a big fee for him 8)

The Gunners are reportedly plotting a swoop for Reece Oxford from West Ham, but do not want to pay their rival's £3million asking price... :D :D

I’m all for charity but what Bournemouth are doing with the victims is now taking the absolute piss.

I’ve often said on here that the day football took the first bite out of its own arsehole was the day Bournemouth paid 17 million quid for Jordan Ibe.

17 MILLION QUID FOR JORDAN FUCKING IBE.

I will never recover from that one, never.

But I see that they’ve now gone and actually done one better by paying 19 million quid for Dominic Solanke.

19 MILLION QUID FOR DOMINIC FUCKING SOLANKE.

That’s the same Dominic Solanke who hasn’t played for Liverpool this season and has started a grand total of 5 league games in his entire career.

Fuck me....it’s now official - the game has gone. And while we may laugh on here and talk of it being absolute banter and make glib remarks about the eating of arseholes it’s a stark reminder of the absolute shit show that was run under Wanker and Ivan when we’ve let -

Serge Gnabry
Wojciech Szczesny
Alexis Sanchez
Jack Wilshere
Aaron Ramsey
Danny Welbeck

all leave the club for a grand total of £15 million and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

That’s fucking grim reading and is even worse when you consider our current paltry transfer “war chest”.

from todays Sun........STAN KROENKE was the only Prem club owner not to dig into his own pocket to fund the team over the past decade.
