Albeit only early, the media are tightening the screw. Even if it amounts to nothing, it's good that he's being held accountable and is aware that people are finally voicing their disillusion with his managerial performances.

Hmmmm. This coaching staff story is promising but I smell a rat. Why were these coaching staff concerns not leaked after chucking a 4-0 lead at Newcastle? Or chucking a 4-2 at home to Spuds? Or conceding 6 at Citeh last year, 6 at the Bridge and 5 at Anfield in record time? Seems the rats are fleeing now as they don't want to be associated with the Specialist in Failure. Hence the leaks begin now. There's defo sthg happening as they're beginning to sense fan dissent and the media are all over Mr Magoo...

It has happened before though.

It happens when we do badly, then something else comes along and they move on.

The worm is turning ever so slowly. Another couple of shite results as clockender has said are quite possible and we might just see a fully fledged revolt. BTW Frank has launched a FB page. Sign up.

Here we go:

John Cross (no Woodward and Bernstein is he) is feeding us with propaganda about how the Dear Leader will be given money to shore up the defence in January. We can't have the fans getting agitated and questioning the boss now, can we?

I love the headline, money "to kick start Arsenal's season". Er, the season started three months ago.

A loss to United at home and I think we'll see quite a backlash - especially since fans will have had a full two weeks to ponder this complete clusterfu*k of a season.

I will rim Nigel Farage if Wenger isn't in charge in the summer.

Also, can you imagine Kroenke and his ilk trying to appoint Wenger's successor? That will be a painful comedy.

Not necessarily - the wiggy c.unt is a business man and he will be well aware of the harm any seriously negative coverage will have on the club. He may not give a shit about winning pots but he will give a shit if the media continue to criticise the man running his company (le cock not ivan) and question the future direction of the club. He will care when the companies willing to sponsor the club and rent boxes at the grove, start to dry up because nobody wants to be associated with a loser. The tv companies will naturally reduce their coverage of our games (traditionally they want to cover top of the table clashes, derby matches and relegation battles and we only fit into one group there) and this of course will reduce the amount of exposure our "brand" will get globally

People often forget the negative impact losing has on a clubs finances, and with a bit of luck the wanky yank will get stung financially if he continues to allow le cock in charge

One of the things that has really pissed me off about merse in the last couple of seasons, is that he is very honest in his opinions during the games or straight after them, but give him a while to ponder his statements and you see a guy watering down his analysis and kissing wenkers arse again  By having a public pop at merse, le cock has only added fuel to the fire and will drive merson to be even more critical and honest in his assessment of future games and that can only be good for us 8)
A smart manager would reach out to merson this week in a bid to reconcile but this French cock is so arrogant that he feels that everybody should bow to him and all his stance will do, is allow this commotion to live and breath and continue as long as shite performances are being served up

My instinctive feeling on the however slight turning by the media and the Merson/Wenger row is that it will strengthen Wenger's hand at the club. He won't have a press conference until Friday week which might dilute the situation slightly, he will face down any questions by not answering them or by giving cynical answers. Those on the inside who secretly are wishing him gone will toe the party line. The bigger problem is Wenger ,and by extension those who matter at the club, do not care what the media or supporters say. This is becoming a secondary mess that I greatly fear Wenger will come through and when(if) he leads arsenal to a glorious fourth place next May we will be told that he was right all along.

there is a reasonable chance that we could lose 5 out of our next 6 fixtures

Man Utd - Home
Dortmund - Home
WBA - Away
Southampton - Home
Stoke - Away
Galatasaray - Away

think we will get a result at WBA.
the thing about these fixtures is that we could well lose 3 at home in a row - things will get very interesting then

VAVAVOOM 14 wrote:Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger's tactics under scrutiny from members of coaching staff following defeat at Swansea

Could this really be true?

Finally someone in our setup actually has the balls to question Wenger's approach (the perpetrators will be sacked imminently and tried for treason).

"Reservations over Arsène Wenger’s defensive tactics held by former players and pundits are shared by members of his Arsenal staff...Steve Bould, Wenger’s assistant, takes a particular interest in the defence, but other backroom figures were left dismayed by the Frenchman’s approach at the Liberty Stadium".

"Wenger will be given £20 million in the January transfer window to try to shore up Arsenal’s defence, but there remains regret that he did not do so in the summer...Arsenal will hold a scouting meeting this week to discuss targets and start to assemble a list of who exactly they will bid for".

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... ansea.html

On 5Live on Sunday evening - Wrighty said that he knew 'for a fact' that Steve bould had given wenker a list of names that were available and that could be bought to sort out the Mid-field Anchor position and the CB's - And wenger didn't even look at the list - because he already had HIS targets in mind and what he did and did not want to spend.

Whay I don't understand is why Bouldy is hanging in there - Unless he's short of the old spondoolah's!? :?
