IF All this splashing of the cash goes ahead and it is a very BIG if , to me this smacks of a desperate shift of direction by Le Fraud !

NOW is this because he's been told to spend or he's finally realised that his project has failed ?

Or he's desperation to remain in charge , so needs to finish top 4 to secure a new contract , and as already been said thats going to be tough next season

All that being said it is refreshing different to be signing players at the start of the window instead of a mad trolley dash at the end !

agree!

The Banners and descent Have worked - The crunt is panicking - This is wenger's version of Early Trolley dash...The best signing he could make would be Koeman to replace him NOW.

this Vardy situation seems far from resolved.
apparently no medical has taken place and he is due to fly out with England today.

It's pretty clear that both Mancs are going to be, and are already, very active in the window. I imagine Klopp will have a bank roll and Chelsea won't miss out. We are going to get left behind and even Wenger knows this but maybe he is setting his replacement up to fail...

Ibrahimovic is a massive signing for United and just the type of forward Mourihno loves if you ask me - forget his age, he is quality and his attitude is contagious and very Mourihno.

Pogba will be fantastic at City and Pep and Jose will both be spending big.

I'd love to see the Foxes keep their side together and even improve it just to spite the 'big clubs' - they may have to throw off in the Champs League but who cares - not like they could win it.

Wenger's legacy is starting to look like it will be a second rate squad particularly if Sanchez departs. I predict 6th in 16/17.

I f.ucking hope that it is contagious cos he is a slow, lazy arrogant cock who will throw the dummy out of the pram if things are not going his way 8) I would rather sign ulloa (never mind vardy) ahead of ibrahimovich

At 34 I very much doubt he will have a big impact at the mancs, might be wrong but I agree with augie (now I feel dirty :? ), he is a lazy fucker, you can get away with that in a one team poor league like he's been playing but the PL is far more physical and you can't afford passengers, as we all know with giroud

He'd be better off going to china or middle east imo.

He will definitely get injuries in the pl at his age I would think, has he definitely signed for them yet anyway?

Have we signed vardy yet ?

Really, I always think ozil wants to replace players as quick as possible, unfortunately he rarely gets the movement or pace in front of him to do this, Vardy will bag 25 plus goals with ozil behind him and I would put a few quid on it.
This ^. Our shit system and our average/poor strikers affect Ozil's game negatively. If he has a fast striker in front of him that wants to get on things quickly, Ozil has the vision and speed of thought to deliver.
Just got talking to a lad in our local shop,(he asked me about Vardy when he saw I was wearing an Arsenal polo shirt). He agreed with me that we shouldn't go near him, then informed me that the scum are in for Lacazette and Griezman! :banghead: If this is true then it highlights our manager/boards lack of ambition. :banghead:

WENGER/KRONKE/GAZIDIS OUT!

but its not true is it. a, they have no money, as its all going stadium and b, why would greizeman go to a much smaller club when he has his pick of any in europe. lacazette more plausible but bollox rumour too. but don't rate him. if he was much cop wouldn't be at lyon at 25 that's for sure.

fuck this lad in the paper shop less plausible than goal.com!

They would be better adding another £10 million to the reputed £20million price tag and going after Alexandre Lacazette, who is younger, and in my opinion better.

The same lacazette who couldnt get in the french squad ahead of giroud ?? Lets not forget that this is also a french squad without benzema  Whoever we sign (and I have already said that vardy wouldnt be my first choice) had better be a LOT better than giroud, and if lacazette isnt that guy then we would be better going with vardy imo
same lacazatte still at a 2nd rate ligue 1 club

Backwards / sideways Gibbs for dynamic Rodriguez yes please (also ties in with Dick Law in Germany )

Would be very happy if it is Mkhitaryn instead mind :barscarf:
don't rate him at all, always looks the worst Dortmund attacker when I see them which admittedly is only occasionally

Can't help feeling Vardy is playing us off against Leicester. If they match our salary offer he will probably stay.

If he does, he's a sly fucker. I would still have him in a heart beat along with Mahrez. A front line of Mahrez, Vardy and Sanchez looks tasty.

It has all the hallmarks of the agent on the phone trying to manipulate the situation. It's probably some shit about bonuses, tax and those fucking image rights-whatever they are. Having said all that, we are the best at fucking up transfers.

There's been too much smoke for this not to be a done deal at this point, but as with all our transfers, it's agony to get over the line.
