ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If true then it's a fucking embarrassment.
Agree,I'd presume we haven't put all our eggs in the 1 basket, and that we have a plan b,if not edu needs to fuck off
Apparently today Mudryk started following Gabriel on Instagram.

I dunno if that mean anything
Zinchenko has unfollowed him lol

Understand Mykhaylo Mudryk is now on a plane flying to London. His future enters into key, final stages as Chelsea have offered contract valid until June 2030. 🚨🔵✈️ #CFC

Chelsea hope to get it sealed this weekend.

Arsenal keep their position, bid made to Mudryk won’t change.

Fuck him,let him go there, muggy no marque club,if he wants the payday then he’ll never get it at Arsenal,Arteta saying he wants to strengthen the squad if the deals right for the club basically means they don’t want to pay the wages,we’ll never really compete with this attitude,
Chelsea must be pleased their new player didn’t even want to play for them,I guess money talks eh

Now let's see how much the player wants us
What do you mean? If a seven year contract has been agreed and he’s on a flight from Turkey then he’s clearly agreed to join them.
Atm it's all speculation ,so until you see him in a Chelsea shirt it's only speculation, not everything on the Internet is true
He’s gone to Chelsea mate.
This gives me hope

100 million quid for a guy playing Ukrainian league football on 3 and a half grand a week is batshit. So is the 7 year contract - that Bohely is handing out 7 year contracts to everyone. After spending more than anyone else in the summer they’re at it again now. Where are they getting all the money from?

Anyway if he chooses the absolute dumpster fire that is the chavs over us then that says enough about him for me.

Probably be a flop, remember when we almost spunked away 100m quid on Thomas Lemar? Dodged a massive bullet there. Hopefully the same applies here. I think everyone wanted him because of all the speculation and hype but nobody knows if he’s actually going to be any good playing outside the pubbers league he’s currently at.

Only time will tell I guess.

Fucking hell, the meltdown over some no mark no one knew about a year ago for £100 million

Let him fuck off to that finished club, we need palyers but that position should be last of our priorities. If he was a top drawer defensive midfielder or a top 5 golascorer then it'd be a different matter as we're crying out for those.

The bloke seems a pure vanity player. Perfect for the chavs. Hope is all goes as well for him and them as Shevchenko and Lukaku did.

Sky reporting it's a done deal, he's on a plane blah blah blah. Unless he does a Manu Petit and goes to the Emirates, it's done and Mudryk has shown himself up massively

Not sure where the money is coming from but people probably say the same about us. The Chavs wage bill must be going through the roof.
Running a football club like'Football Manager 2023' is not going to be successful. Fuck Mudryk.

Tbh, all this chasing Mudryk had distracted the bigger and massively more important job the club should be focusing on and getting those contracts signed for Saka, Martenelli and Saliba.

The option for an extra year being activated for Saliba is a major alarm bell as this suggests the discussions aren't going as well as they should be.

Saka and Martenelli will start having their heads being turned, especially by City if they are starting another shopping spree as they'll be having a clear out soon of players like Silva and Mahrez.

Those 3 are crucial to us moving forward, and would be a massive boost for the 2nd half of the season knowing they're tied down for the foreseeable future.

A Ukrainian rocking up at a club built on stolen Russian rubles from one of Putin’s henchmen.

Grim times.
