Not necessarily. Wilson was #39 so it cant be based just on the top 32 from that poll.digger wrote:You'd like to think not, but I don't think you can rule it out.
If they're basing it on the "top 50" Arsenal players ever, then it could well happen....
8 facades to be decorated, four players on each.... means #25 gets included
And Kanu?? I didn't like it when he was on the pitch at Highbury, It would piss me off if i had to look at him on the wall of the stadium!!

Loving the pictures, well done Arsenal Football Club (and people that took the photos).
This may make me sound quite thick but who is Hapgood? I imagine as his number is 3 that he was a left back and his shirt is old school so probably one of the players from the successful 1930s team.
EDIT: Just found this (on TimesOnline) for anyone else who didn't know:-
1927-40, 440 appearances, 2 goals
The Winterburn to George Male's Dixon, Eddie Hapgood was the first in a line of great Arsenal left backs but the only one whose real first name was Edris. Lightweight in build but a giant of the pre-war game (he captained England), he was treated rather shabbily by the club when he fell on hard times in retirement.

Won the league 5 times & the FA Cup twice. Captained the club & England, served in WWII as well, apparently.RVP2 wrote:Loving the pictures, well done Arsenal Football Club (and people that took the photos).

I remember reading that the club treated him badly...

And also Hapgood wasn't in the top 50 so HOPEFULLY that would also mean Cashley doesen't get in.Its Up 4 Grabs Now wrote:Not necessarily. Wilson was #39 so it cant be based just on the top 32 from that poll.digger wrote:You'd like to think not, but I don't think you can rule it out.
