Now it's level. Any sort of win out there and we're through. Ok, so on the evidence of the first 20 mins tonight we're still the underdogs....but the fact that we're going out there with any sort of chance is fucking amazing!

We'll probably still go out. Maybe lose 0-4....or it might just turn into one of the greatest nights in Arsenal's history!
Mikey, I am with you, our hope is still on! They will have two central def missed in the 2nd leg. Though I know it's hard, we will fight on till the end. We are all gooners :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Out battled and out classed but somehow we managed to get a draw.   8)

Massive task now, but you can never rule us out. Just hope we show a lot more fight in the Nou Camp.

Apparently Clichy has a twisted ankle and Cesc could possibly be out for the rest of the season. Do we ever come through a game without picking up an injury?

Men against boys in the 1st half. It seemed we were beat even before the 2 goals went in.I must admit I gave up hope (too soon maybe but I ve been watching Arsenal all my life.......)

Then Theo comes on and really scares them. Wow. More impact than he has had for ages.He must have a better chance for the World Cup now and that can only be good for Arsenal.

Gutted for Cesc missing the 2nd leg (and maybe more - eekkk ! )
Once again I was convinced he d miss the pen.

Perhaps I need to find some more faith in our boys ability to fight back. Esp.after the huge disappointment of Brum.

We are (incredibly) still in it.What a night ! :barscarf:

Hardly men against boys, they didnt bully us off the pitch, they just out passed us. They worked incredibly hard when they didnt have the ball which is probably why in the last 20 minutes they faded and we got back into the game.

We are just havng our say and tbh we are right in our negativity, what sort of supporter likes to see their team totally fucking outplayed at home with a mere 30 per cent of persessioon ?

the kind that still get a draw and are in with a decent shout of getting to another cl semi final

Love that emoticom, wtf  i would rather go out of a comp than win it with a fluke when being totally outclassed :?

My main gripe was the referee........i know in European competitions there ..how you say more ''stricter'' but to award a free kick every time a player fell down was atrocious refereeing!!!Cesc's yellow was a joke,it was a fair tackle pure and simple but...you know. The ref was a total joke who was out of his depth.

Almunia, did he take drugs or something...in the 1st half he was awesome and he spoils it by going back to the old Al in the first minute of the 2nd half, but really we seemed frightened or nervous and didn't close them down like there did to us BUT we pulled it back and in the end could of nicked it.We have given ourselves a slight chance in camp nou So here's to next Tuesday and i'm off to get more pissed for a great come back display.

GOD BLESS CESC FABREGAS!!!!!

Just got home. Can't talk. Haven't read it all just the last couple of pages. Did it really come across as quiet, cos for me it was probably one of the best atmospheres ever at the Grove, esp after our first goal went in.

Probably not worth repeating what others have said, but no matter how piss poor we were for a lot of this game we are at least still in with a shout. A special mention for Al though, i went from wanting to have his babies to wanting to kill the *word censored* in the space of an hour. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Agree the ref was absolutely fcuking useless!

The first 20 mins i had to watch through my fingers. After 3 yellows and 2 players stretchered off in the first half, i thought it would crumble, and it nearly did, so credit to the boys for the comeback.

Diaby woeful and i would suspect he wasn't fit. I think he would have come off had every half fit player not collapsed. Credit to denilson who was better than usual.

Ref a joke. Our injuries are a joke. Only us come out of a game like that with 4 major injury worries while the world cries about Rooney's sprain. What a difference someone like Van Persie could have made to our night and our season. Our squad is paper thin. I think these injuries will fuck both trophy runs but at least my barcelona ticket isnt totally wasted as i was thinking it was at 9pm. They were a class above. We are Barca Lite. But being underdogs and staging a comeback might just mean we could sneak something. If only we could take the 94 team for the second leg.

Lastly, atmosphere was pretty mellow considering

First 20 minutes the team were overwhelmed by the occassion i think. All the talk before hand and then suddenly Barca came flying at them playing them at their own game. It would have been less of an onslaught if someone could put their foot on the ball and slow it down and get in a rhythm instead of hoofing it all over the place and giving the ball straigh back.

What is clear though is that Maxwell and Alves leave acres of space at the back when they go roaming forward and a few times Nasri exploited this in the first half and then Walcott in the second. What we can take heart from though is that we created chances and should have had a goal or two more aswell with Bendtner missing a header that should have gone in and a few dangerous balls across the six yard box.

Typical CL ref IMO. Gives away lots of free kicks for anything that resembles a tackle. A few of Songs most notably on Ibrahimovic on the edge of the box where he won the ball and the Cesc booking was a fair tackle :banghead:

Super Al's finest ever performance but could he have done better for the goals?

Ref complete shite, Theo changed the game and Song looks more composed at CB - as DM he keeps bombing forward leaving a black hole behind him for the oppo to exploit.

Shocking to hear a few boos for Henry - do these people actually support Arsenal.

Also noticed huge amount of paper tickets in entrance J - I thought this game sold out - why so many paper tickets???

Then fuck off.
Blah blah blah, "fuck off and support da y**s" because I think Barcelona are far superior to us, heard it all before mate.

Now you can fuck off.
Why didnt you fuck off like I said. Dont make this mistake again.
