Got home from the game about 45 mins ago. Pretty much a snoozefest, neither team looked liked scoring. Was worried about the attacking threat posed by Citeh but Bellamy, Tevez & Greedy were hardly in the game. We dominated possession but yet again failed to do anything with it. Another solid game from Sol, he definitely deserves another year, but we were lacking in attack again :(

That was a complete non event. Anyone who paid to see that should be reimbursed ! Although in fairness it was a pretty good cure for insomnia if you could bottle it.

IMO thats been EXACTLY the problem over the last few seasons, much more so than keepers, centre halves, defensive midfielders, etc.

I would say our stats over the last couple seasons would show that we score less from outside the box than any other team. Thats why we have missed RVP so much - at least he'll have a crack at goal when its on.

Am i the only one that postively loved the fact that it was so boring and predictable?

Not had enough of that over the last few years, its good for the blood pressure. What I wouldn't give for a time machine to go back and watch some GG attrition football for a few weeks.

MOTD missed moment of the very dull game of RVP tackling Greedy. Anyone got a link? Also would quite like to see Bellamy slap Song and get away with it...

I couldn't understand how ESPN could say that was a point gained for City.... If they'd won they would have gone above Spurs, strengthened their struggle for 4th but also put pressure on us for 3rd!

The point virtually guarantees us CL football, ends City's lingering hopes of 3rd and leaves them 4th and needing to beat Spurs next weekend! It also ends our run of 3 sucessive defeats and earns us a clean sheet against one of our peers, which is more than a little unusual.

Point gained for Arsenal then and the only surprise from the game was why on earth City, with Tevez, Belamy, Ade etc were so fucking boring!

Dont really need to repeat the previous comments on how boring it was (but yet I just did  ) - I said to my cousin at ht that I thought that the crowd turned up ready to vent their anger at a certain mercenary *word censored* and when he wasnt started it took the whole wind out of our sails until he was brought when the place erupted. Honestly I have been to a lot of games over the years but I have never witnessed as vocal an outpouring of hatred in my life.....it made me proud to be a Gooner 8)

On another matter I wish to fcuk wenger would go fcuk himself with his 4-3-3/4-5-1 formations cos they do my fcuking head in :banghead: Passing sidewards all day with only 1 striker to aim for and a lot of times he has fcuked off out to the wings

I know that around me yesterday there was a load of Gooners going mental when the shitty players were complaining the fcukface dean about not booking diaby but I have to say that they had a fair point - in the first 20mins the brainless fool gave away 5 cheap free kicks one after another and amazingly wasnt booked  One of many mistakes by dean yesterday - only thing was than the game was the performance of that *word censored*

PS Would theold *word censored* that was sitting behind me who told me to sit down after two minutes (when rvp had a half chance) please go and fcuk herself cos the next time she does it I will test to see if the bitch can fly when I throw her arse from the top tier    It was a bad start and a bad omen

I didn't bother with football yesterday and went to a panto instead. The "baddies" dressed in black and although there were hardly any proper "goodies" really, they all dressed up in red and white for the occasion. Overseeing all this was the dame who, desperate to animate the bored crowd, gave almost every decision to the "baddies" who mostly kept all their men back because they are rich enough to do what they want. There were some old favourites (who used to be "goodies) to cheer but the best part of the show was when the nasty, greedy, monster "baddie" replaced an old "goodie" favourite. Gosh how we booed and called him "wanker". It was fun. One of the pretend "goodies" then nearly ruined everything by having a shot at goal that so shocked one of the nicer "baddies" that he injured himself quite badly and we all worried whether or not it was worth staying 'til the bitter end. We did of course and were rewarded by an original "goodie" clattering the nasty greedy, monster and incurring the wrath of the dame. There was still time for a cameo appearance of another fake "goodie" who became a "baddie" for a while but then turned into a "goodie" again. He fell over and ran about a lot to no real purpose but everyone loves this character and sings lots of songs about him. At the end, after one of the original "goodies" gave his shirt to some kids, our favourite crap "goodie" (who was a "baddie" but turned back into a "goodie") also gave his shirt away and everyone thought it was excellent and went home happy.

Four times I got told to sit down yesterday by some knobhead behind me :banghead: Got some funny looks for hurling abuse Ade's way when he was trying to hug Song at the end as well.
