He has been terrible today, you have to wonder how much longer Wenger can really stick with him with wilshere showing more promise with every game he plays. Would sending him on loan be benificial??OneBardGooner wrote:Walcott is a waste of space .....Oooooh! look he can run very, very fast....feck all else...wot a TOSSER!!!![]()

You Walcott haters are a fucking joke, he quite clearly had Celtic shit scared in the first half, played some fantastic balls into the box, set up a goal and his pace and movement in behind was a constant threat.
Yes on 2 occasions he made the wrong decision, but fuck me what player didnt. Its a pre-season friendly all about getting match sharpness, and Walcott for the first 70 minutes looked very very sharp

Fully agreed. I've never understood why anyone thinks he's anything but a complete pile of shit.OneBardGooner wrote:Walcott is a waste of space .....Oooooh! look he can run very, very fast....feck all else...wot a TOSSER!!!![]()

Not only has he not got a football brain, it's debatable as to whether or not he has any kind of brain.

You do realise he set up the first goal, was a constant threat. In the second half he made 3 wayward crosses and all of a sudden people jump on him like he's the worst player in the world. Your so blindly hating Walcott that you can never ever see the good things he does in a game, you must sit there and wait for Theo to misplace a pass just to say.. "see, i told you so"Bring Back Pires wrote:You do realise that the goal isn't positioned by the corner flag, don't you?AFCWozza wrote:Walcott played some fantastic balls into the box

Oh right, you mean that piss-poor shot that was so far off target it ended up as a cross?AFCWozza wrote:You do realise he set up the first goal
Accidentally setting up a goal as a result of being utter shit doesn't really count as a great contribution in my opinion.
Edit: And you just know that if he HAD meant to cross that for the assist, he would've royally fucked it up in typical Walcott fashion.

Do you think that three wayward crosses in one half is an acceptable standard for an Arsenal player?AFCWozza wrote:In the second half he made 3 wayward crosses and all of a sudden people jump on him like he's the worst player in the world. You say people jump on him after "just" three bad crosses in one half, but people are fucked off because he does it in every single match he plays in. I'm not judging his inability purely on today.
You're right though - I am able to say "I told you so" pretty fucking often.
