SUNDERLAND AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

hate this media bias. when arsenal get fouled its all "soft arsenal ", but when sunderland dive its "hmm, could be a free kick". not a fucking word said about this diving . They're probably used to having to do it to avoid cattermole in training  :banghead: :banghead:

That has been a woeful 45 minutes.......espn talking about how well sunderland are playing but imo they are just not as shit as we are in that half

Kos has been immense and at times appears to be holding the team together on his own 8) Wilshire and song giving away too many petty stupid fouls and paid the price with those yellows :x
As a team our ball retention has been absolutely shocking

AFCWozza wrote:Sunderland have been quality in this first half, but realistically can they really continue at this pace and level for 90 minutes, we have the moment of quality to kill this game off.. and we could completely kill it off if we get going properly.

We have also scored 11 second half goals and conceded just one in 5 game this season, taking that into account we should score 2.2 and conceded a 1/5th of a goal.. Sunderland 1/5 - 3.2 Arsenal
16/1 ?

Agreed!!
When was the last time we played badly and won Captain?
We aren't necessarily playing badly. Actually pretty impressive I think. Away from home against a decent home side who only lost against United, Chelsea and Villa last season.

Come on the Gunners! :barscarf:

WTF??? What game are you watching? been quick to the ball all first half and stopped loads of crosses. Really strong as well against Henderson, and gone forwards. gave a great cross as well but no-one there!!

Give over!

Clichy is up against 2 crossers and AA hasn't gone back once to help, thats who should be blamed not Clichy who by all accounts has gotten to most of the balls.
