The US Martin BORED Thread

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Not really an alter-ego, just an old friend of USM's. Have known him a loooooong time.

And certainly am posting from Zurich, from FIFA HQ. 8) ( not really ).

Have no fear flash gunner, I am off to South America for a few months, so won't be posting, and was just popping in here to tell USMartin not to take his quest soooo seriously.

( although I agree with him on most points ).

I take it you have previous experience of USMartin's "distinctive" posting style?

What gave you that idea?

I guess the 'looooooong time' was a bit of a give-away.

They are here to debate us into submission to the Board! :-P

We must fight this to the end....I must quote the words of Winston Churchill in this troubled time...

"Even though large chunks of Arsenal shares and many old and loyal supporters have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Board and all the odious apparatus of Board rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France  , we shall fight on for Bertie Mee's notions, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Club, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the training ground, we shall fight in Highbury fields and in the 12 Pins, we shall fight in William Hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Club or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the Eboue Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the new world, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old."

Come on you Arsenal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Surprisingly enough I haven't read all (O.K. any) of this thread but re: the first bit in bold, you're wasting your time, a lot have tried that already and the second part, I think if the posts weren't so long and repetitive most people would agree too.

EDIT: I should also have pointed out that there is no need for these rants, sorry posts, to appear in every bloody thread. But then all this has been said before to no avail :banghead:

I help operate a small maintenance company that my family has had for many years. I work mostly from home as I do the office management work, althouugh now I am considering seeking another job (don't say a word - I know the economy is shit now) but I would like something a bit more challenging honestly.
