They had to go to generalsale to sell their tickets..Villa won the league and European Cup in the 80's . Did that not put the City on the map.?..Martin "tiny" Taylor played for them...Thats all we need to know about them.

I just want to wish the best to all the Arsenal fans going to Wembley next sunday. Make some noise, I hope everything will be OK at the end of the game so you can celebrate the Cup.

SSN just shown pre-match build-up will include Fabregas and Walcott banners from Carling on the pitch. Oops.

I have a really bad feeling that we are going to get turned over 2-1 by the scum from Brum  I hope I am wrong but all this talk of six years without a trophy is pissing me off, has anyone thought that Bum have gone a whole lot longer and will be just a determined to end the barren years.

The 6 years without a trophy talk is kind of annoying but I'm beginning to think that maybe its a backhanded compliment. The day that nobody bothers counting how many years we've gone without a trophy is probably the day we truly become also-rans.

I've thought about that. But the same was true when they were beaten by Liverpool in the final in 2001 (Cardiff). And the same was true when Millwall got there....and Wigan....Brighton. Given that the respective players have been just as starved as success as each other then I don't think they should have the edge re-determination.

Much has been made on the news today about thousands of Brummies turning up for the remaining tickets that had gone on general sale.... They say it as if this is proof of what die hards these fans really are. Fucking bullshit. At least twice in recent weeks they have had less than 10,000 of their own fans turn up to St Andrews for cup games. There is no way they have more than 20,000 regular supporters. So for something like a third of their "loyal" support, Sunday is likely to be their first match of the season.....

We'll try.... :winner: !

Always enjoyed a day out at Villa Park - albeit that you've had your moments.... Hope is wasn't you who kicked my car that day..... Was at your place when we won 6-2.....and the year when poor santa hit the deck right in front of us (sitting in the side). So always favoured villa over blues. But you just know that they'll all be cockney hating gobby geezers come Sunday and that none of them have missed a game for years etc etc..... :blah: !

I have a bad bad feeling that diaby will start :speechless: :worried: Wenger can see no wrong in the *word censored* and I wouldnt be surprised to see him start for cesc leaving nasri, rvp and arshavin up front.

As I said on another thread in my opinion there are only 3 factors that can lead to defeat........mike dean, player arrogance and if the notorious wembley pitch starts cutting up but if we on our game this is one we should be winning :barscarf:
