Personally, I sympathise with any ST holder who is being slowly but surely priced out of affording their ST - a ST that many have held for years... even decades.

Not taking away from your points MK but I know this is an old chestnut on here. When reading about something else I discovered that any beer with less than 3% alcohol served on the continent is considered non-alcoholic therefore they can be served and drank in the stands in Germany.
Now carry on, the price of season tickets is scandelous.
They serve their standard beers mate, around 5%, and you can take that into the stands.
