Cesc must quit for Barca

It makes absolute sense that Cesc will be sold. Does anyone seriously think Wenger will just go out and spend 40m? No, he'll spend 40 then sell Cesc for 35m and he'll come out of it having spent 5m but telling everyone that he's done what they wanted - buy several players. There is no way he'll spend 40m then sell Cesc and then spend another 30, will never happen.

It's 'official' then. He's off. Let's just get the money, spend it, wish Cesc all the best and move on from this bloody saga

GoonerSids right, he'll be off loaded as soon as and Wenger will bring in a couple of players to deflect from the fact that our captain and playmaker doesn't want to play for us due to a lack of investment in the team.
If the manager had done what was clear to everyone else then we may have had a winning team by now and he wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else.
Still, i hope Fabregas doesn't give us the " i will always love Arsenal and the fans" bollocks. That makes me puke.

Then he'll bring in a couple of foreign players who will take a year or so to get used to playing in England when what we need, surely, are British or experienced Premier League players

you sound like kenny. Yes we need some brits, but not all brits, clearly there is not enough quality around.

Well at least it will be over, and hopefully we never have to deal with barca again.

Cesc it seems will go for peanuts, wonder how wenger will explain this one. Cant see top players wanting to come to play with whoever we have left.

Well said Percy.....

What irks me about these situations - players leaving etc - is that none of them - with the exception of Thierry Henry - have the Balls or the "Class" to actually front up and say to the fans :

"Thank-You I have enjoyed my time here, but I'm moving on etc etc...."

Fabregas has done this the cowards way - off on his hols with his barca bumchums and then announces through his representatives that unless Arsenal agree terms with the barcacunts he will refuse to attend pre-season training.....

for me - as much as he has played some amazing football - and on occasions - lead the team by (Brilliant and Brave ) example - in this he has let himself and us down...

so yeah FUCKOFF cesc and don't let the door hit you in the back on your way out!.

Problem is now that he has announced publicly that he wants out - tis will strengthen barcawhores negotiating terms....*word censored*! :banghead:

Anyone who doesn't want to play for the club can fuck off right now.

Cesc was a great player but has been a twat for the last 12 months and will never be considered alongside Bergkamp, Henry or Pires as a true legend of the club.

I'm not too impressed with the rumor that he will refuse to come back for pre season training if a deal is not done.

If the *word censored* does that then I hope Wenger holds him to his contract, we are not crippled by debt, we do not need to be dictated to.

This will end up getting very bitter.

I've actually started to develop a real dislike for him due to all the Barca shite that we've had to put up with for years due to this bloke.

He's a shit captain, no balls for the fight and injury prone so Barca can have him but only for the right price.

Also read about how he's ready to pay 5m out of his own pocket so that we'd let him go. If he's that desperate it's a bit disgraceful.

He joined us when Barca were a spent force and we were a superpower during the invincible years but since we've gone downhill while Barca started to dominate and now he wants to go back to his 'boyhood' club. If they're his boyhood club why did he leave them???

His time at Arsenal will always be remembered as a bad time for the club in which he and his team mates failed to win a single trophy.

Let him go and have his orgy with Puyol and Pique and his other bum mates.

If we play the whores next year I hope Jack goes through him proper.

And yes I'm bitter.
