Great result tonight, not a easy group and to win with a game to spare.

Progress :D

Nice holiday for the kids in greece now, wrap RVP up in cotton wool.

Laaav it :barscarf: :barscarf:

I was baffled by him subbing koscielny for djourou. Kos looked pretty tired but there was no need for him to continue bombing on, why disrupt a defence that had been near-perfect all game and bring on that lump of shite? Luckily it cost us too late in the game.

Still, not complaining since its a massive and very unexpected win :barscarf: :barscarf:

van persie not in the game either, made a couple of good passes but he hasn't got the space he usually finds. Hope we get gervinho off and replace with arshavin.
Oh boy...you should players tippers mate...you'd lose every week
I did, I was doing ok until I started forgetting.

as for gervinho, he is shite, and that was one of the worst performances I've seen from an arsenal player since fabianski's fuck up match against porto :?

Can't believe people on here have been slating Alex Song. Looked like Ronaldinho in his prime when he set up the first goal. The great Songbillonginho. 8)

Of course he got a good reception!

I know you dislike a lot of things at Arsenal mate, but what good would silence or booing Diaby do? what would be the point other than trying to turn a positive evening into a negative one?

That would have been a disgraceful response considering we've just won our group and are desperately trying to turn our season around. We're winning a lot of games at the moment and clearly putting in a lot of effort - so why rock the boat?

I just cannot understand your "fuckwits" comment. Is supporting our players and club such a crime?? :?

Hmmm, let's not lose sight here just because he did brilliantly for our 1st goal, but Song was shit in the 1st half misplaced passes, cumbersome and slow, he improved 100 pct in the 2nd half, until his combined fuck up with Djourou for their goal.

Just ignore him, he was busying writing mini-essays to himself while song-billong was skipping through the dortmund defence. Just USmartin with added swearing and pseudo-wit.

i think conceding that late goal, showed how much Sczchesny and Vermaelen wanted to keep a clean sheet, they both had epi's

can't wait for Sagna to come back, i think a defence of Sagna, Koscienly, TV5 and Santos - could be a throw back to the glory days

It is for Captain Halfwit, logged on to give one bard some stick about Song but seen he is cutting him some slack...

Great win, tough group which we won unlike City, Chelsea or United.

11 wins in 13 now, the season is back on track although I don't know how as the team is shit.....

TV5 is a fucking monster. In his first season it was clear he was an intelligent and tenacious defender but he lacked some seniority in the squad what with it being his first year and playing with gallas. Now he is vice captain and a senior squad member i think we will see him build and improve on that first year.

Injury is the only concern but my understanding is that both of his achille's have had the offending tendon removed and shouldn't cause him many more problems.

Very happy atm but i still think we're in that very frustrating position of being only a brief glimpse of transfer market ambition away from being a real force.

Good point Frank, good point, you are right up there with Jamie Redknapp and Ray Wilkins for analysing stuff.
