strange, how many fucking of you have turned into rosetinters
any realistic person will be gutted tonight, we need to cement our top 4 place before challenging for the title seriously we are stuck in a very tight league, us, chelsea, liverpool and the scum are all very evenly matched. we need to hope our rivals lose to finish above them, if you seriously see us challenging for the title, get yer head checked. we haven't got any from tonight, invincibles day? holy shit, lets not turn into scum fans.

Come on, we are nowhere near the title but the Invincibles record is one of the most impressive achievements EVER in English football, if not the most impressive. Is it not a lovely moment to see it conserved for another year, especially with such a soulless shell of a team looking ominously good?
And I think one WUM aside we are not claiming to be title contenders.

I'm glad City lost, means we can go into Sunday feeling more optimistic about taking all 3 points, it means the League gets tightened up, and another slap in the face of all the media that wrote us off this year.
are you for fucking real! City are going to be well up for the game on Sunday now. I have just revised my match prediction from a draw to narrow defeat
And whats your bloody problem?! Just because I fancy our chances against a side that despite arguably being the best in the league currently, have failed to get past the group stages in the CL, and lost to a side of aging chavs that people thought they would trash. Excuse me for being optimistic for a change. Is it a crime to back the team all of a sudden?

I must get myself tested for amnesia because i have absolutely no recollection of tottenham finishing a league season unbeaten?
Whether a chelsea win or a man city win is better for us is conjecture at this point because its december, a lot can still happen.
What is not conjecture is that we remain the only club to have finished a 38-game top flight season without suffering defeat. In the bigger picture
that is much more important to me then piffling and pointless arguments about who our main rivals are this season

a big part of me wanted city to win for that reason and the only good point was city losing as the longer the unbeaten run went on the more worried we would have got but after watching the game and lets be honest city could have had the game won before chelsea scored there is no one going to stop them winning the league, as henry says it is a 3 team fight for two places in top 4 and city winning would have been a better result for the arsenal.

This one result wont change anything this season but city remaining unbeaten will ruin our outstanding record....... Im over the moon they lost
Fuck it - sometimes you have to take a step back and look at it through non-pragmatic eyes. I'm delighted Citeh lost. We retain the Invincibles record and it's too early in the season for that one result to decide anything on it's own merit.
TBH, no matter what the scum the chavs and the mousers do, our biggest threat to getting a top 4 finish is Wenger's refusal to strengthen in January.
Does anyone truly believe RVP will stay fit for the whole season? Or TV5? These are two key players in key roles that have no even half decent back up, never mind top quality back up.
As SWL said on another thread we coast along usually through Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan but then Wenger refuses to strengthen in January and when the injuries to key players and the fatigue and lack of form all hit in Feb/Mar/Apr we have no quality back up and it's everything fucked. Again.

spot on can't agree more, I don't see us winning the title but I am worrying to see Shitty finished a season unbeatable, so I am happy for the results last nite
I was really confused sitting down to the game last night. The only good result (both losing) wasn't on offer. But once the game got going and that arrogant prick Balotelli scored, and then Wilkins started having an orgasm every time they touched the ball, I knew in my gut I wanted the Chavs to win with the added bonus that the Invincibles record remained intact.
Seriously, I really hate Balotelli. I'd really like to punch him in that miserable looking gob. Anything that demonstrates that you can't just come in and buy the league, cheers me up. And yes understand the irony of supporting the Chavs there.
I staying realistic and I agree we could have done win citeh winning to keep the chavs in check. But come on who on this forum can honestly say 100% they don’t have a slight fire burning in the belly right now that is telling you if , and I mean a big fooking IF, we beat citeh on Sunday and go 6 behind then, then what? Do you dare to believe or have we all been down this road before and are destined to have our souls destroyed in February when it all goes wrong. I don’t know, I have a sneaky feeling this squad are made of sterner stuff then the ones before them.
Anyway, Im not saying any more at this stage, I will just support Arsenal all the way and allow myself some hope in moderation. No im not a rose tinter, but I love The Arsenal and any possible chance of success no matter how slight I will take with a cherry on top.
the same people who 2 months ago were saying we were doomed and had no hope of the top 4 are now saying if we beat City on Sunday we can win the league
for saying on here that it has now become much harder for us to get back in the top 4 I am accused of being a WUM
if anything I am a bit less optimistic about getting into the top 4 than I was because of Wenger's stupid decision to play Santos in Greece.
This has been a bad week for the club so no I do not feel like celebrating "Invincibles Day" or whatever you want to call it
The chances of us winning the league are virtually nil, so I was disappointed the chavs one.
Still the results are what the results are and I still think we can come above the chavs. Certainly puts a bit more pressure on the game on Sunday though.

You mean Wilkins orgasm about Chelsea mate! He had to pretty much apologise towards the end of the game because I reckon he had removed his trousers by the time Lumpalard scored that pen.
I'm with you on Balotelli. I absolutely despise him. Watching Mancini have to bark at him is laughable.
