As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
being honest though, it was expected. Wigan have been playing well and having so many poor decisions against them, you could tell the ref had that in mind and some of the decisions he made shows that. Wigan did play well again tonight, probably deserve the win. Walcott & Ramsey were just frustrating tonight as well as others!!
Not happy with the result, but, can't say I'm shocked to see us lose to relegation battlers. It has been the tale of the past seven years really, when it counts we crumble.
Just not good enough tonight.
It was a real opportunity to bury 3rd place, but why would we ever want to do anything the easy way eh?
We have got to stop going behind though in football matches. Regardless of the situations being different we are spending too much time trying to come from behind

Depressing...........fucking depressing. What was Ramsey doing in there? Please somebody tell me what the fuck was his job. He cannot break up play, he's not creative so what use is he?
Every fucking time one of those *word censored* went down he gave them a free-kick. *word censored* hope they get relegated, find some fucking fans you tiny *word censored*.
Clueless performance, bringing on fucking Gervinho instead of Chambo fucking bright idea that Wenger, even more fucking clueless is the decision to start Benayoun in the first place, not Arsenal standard, if he keeps him on a permanent basis then Chelsea will be laughing for months.
Posted prior to the match that I thought this would be tough and I'm absolutely gutted to have had it come to pass. I simply cannot understand why these well-paid professionals cannot get in the right frame of mind to beat the 'lesser' teams.
As others have stated it must have something to do with attitude as we were second best and deservedly beaten. I am absoultely furious with the perfromance and result but must congratulate Wigan.
Playing the entire season with one recognised striker is absolute madness and we have reaped what we have sown.
Not as good as some have been led to believe. Cannot defend and unable to get themselves up for some games. Santos, Ramsey and Theo were the worst tonight.
