which striker (left back and backup goalie) should we buy?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

we bought Eduardo after he scored the first competitive goal at the Grove
be nice to get Huntelaar to and add to the set
(has Mellberg retired, or was he injured for Olympiakos the other night?)
He's currently playing for Valencia in the Second Division in Spain.
Villarreal not Valencia.

Forget about Huntelaar, Wenger's slagged him off too much.

Today's press suggesting that we wil buy Leandro Damiao (a long, time Scum target). Maybe our Brazilian cousins could give us their opinions as I know nothing of him.

Daniel Sturridge is also said to 'prefer' a move the us. I haven't made my mind up on him either. All his clubs seemed to have rated him but then haven't played him much. Is there a reason?

His attitude fucking stinks and he isn't half the player he reckons he is.

I've seen a bit of him here and there. He looks a very promising striker.

As you said, maybe one of the Brazilian members may shed more light on him.

And I agree with you benji - we have traditionally played our best when we had a pacy striker up front and it is no coincidence that we have struggled without one in recent years (please dont suggest walnut  )

More attractive option now Senegal aren't in ACN. Still a bit worried about his fitness and attitude now.
