Today's press suggesting that we wil buy Leandro Damiao (a long,time Scum target). Maybe our Brazilian cousins could give us their opinions as I know nothing of him.
Daniel Sturridge is also said to 'prefer' a move the us. I haven't made my mind up on him either. All his clubs seemed to have rated him but then haven't played him much. Is there a reason?

I've seen a bit of him here and there. He looks a very promising striker.
As you said, maybe one of the Brazilian members may shed more light on him.

And I agree with you benji - we have traditionally played our best when we had a pacy striker up front and it is no coincidence that we have struggled without one in recent years (please dont suggest walnut )
