BSM March before Swansea

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

However, as demonstrated by post #2, it is blatantly something that is going to get swamped by WOB tossers thinking it is just a vehicle to get WENGER OUT!, which it clearly isn't, so it won't be getting my support.
Why are they tossers? :?

No offence mate but that is utter b******t - if you believe in BSM's aims then you turn up and support the march to show a united front. If anything your non attendance would be viewed as either supporting the board or not supporting the march due to the lack of a wenger out agenda

I won't go on the march, personally I don't think the BSM message if coherent
I don't like the rampant PremierLeague led commercialism of modern day football
IMO we should be basing our league on the Bundesliga's successful fan-centred model
most of my issues (and the ones the BSM website outlines) are Prem wide
I see it as more logical to support the FSF than the BSM
http://www.fsf.org.uk/

that said if we fail to fill obvious gaps in the squad this winter,
I can see 'rosetinters' like me turning rather revolutionary

even in simple business terms, allowing us to fall away now - just before we renegotiate deals
would be financially negligent,
this window is not the time to make do
it's time to make sure

Good luck with your march lads and I hope the club take note and listen. Im not at the the game (or any others at the space bowl for the foreseeable for financial reasons, i.e. I cant afford to go anymore, which is what I guess you’re protesting about so thanks from me) but hopefully the march will also get your message out to many many more gooners both at the game and via twitter / FB etc who are currently unaware they can do something about the board that is fleecing them.

I just hope none of these pseudo ‘celebrity’ arsenal twitter accounts (i.e. that fecking eejet @johnny0neill) feel the need to mock you again like they did when you had the banner at the AGM.

just skimmed his TL, think he's sarcastic but pretty funny
"#FootballConfessions .......I don't like Ashley Cole very much. Feels good to get that off my chest."
"I want us to put Yann on the straight and narrow. I want us to rehabilitate him. Then sell him to City for £35m in 2 years."
"'I'm not a defensive midfielder' quotes mixed in with tales of slapping girls in nightclubs with bottles of grey goose."
"For something that I love. I really do hate them sometimes. You sexy horrible idiotic loveable arsehole Arsenal. Don't call me. Call me."
didn't see anything bad...

if Cook is true to his words then if Red Action ever want to really redeem themselves with team Usmanov then how about taking a pro Usmanov banner on the march this time ?

Red & White will be there i can promise you and with all the russian tricks of the trade up their sleeve I can assure you that the march will be filmed and Usmanov will be delighted to see anything that is positive about him-don't miss a golden opportunity

is that a serious suggestion?
sounds like pretty much the most divisive thing anybody could do
would 100% guarantee the march breaks up/degenerates into recriminations

Arsenal over the years have been split into many different fractions. WOB Army, AKB's, Usmanov in, Usmanov out & Usmanov shake-it-all-about and more.

Many fans straddle the same views and Vice versa
For example many share the same opinion to the direction of the board or lack of trust to the board. Where as those that share that view on the board will have differences on the subject of Wenger. As someone once told me, "An opinion is like an arsehole, everyone has one!"

On the subject of Wenger, his support is diminishing quickly. That has been more & more evident this season and on the past few games.
However, he is regarded to some similar to some sort of demi-God. You don't dare question him.
Others are questioning their support to him, I suspect the loads want him gone but are afraid of being vocal in the ground due to the staunch Wenger supporters. Leaving those that actively want him gone.
The point I'm making is that the subject of Wenger is a hot potato in itself. There's still too many that support him.

It's not part of BSM's aims but I gather the majority of BSM do want Wenger gone. I bet there's a few BSM members that still like Wenger!
The question of Wenger is now but that's not the remit of BSM.

Redaction support the march and the views of BSM, as do many AST members who are attending the walk. The Gooner itself has even gone on record to say that many support the BSM but not enough for it to be a majority and therefore cannot commit.

The aims have been laid out and quite clear.
If you don't support the board and it's policies then join the walk.

On the other hand if you don't support Wenger and want change then start singing up inside the ground.
You may find other will join you and in time....some of the supporter groups too. 8)

When the Banner went up at the AGM he was doing a load of a running commentary of unfunny jokes at the BSM’s expense. I thought he was trying to trivialise a legitimate protest the BSM were making for the sake of getting a few retweets. Made him come across as a right knob-head.

End of the day the BSM are standing up and making noise at something they see is wrong with the club , whereas him and his ilk just, well just write blogs and suchlike from their 'im a super supporter because I blog ivory towers'
