Baggies away

Dunno about u guys but I think we showed great character and team spirit. Too bad we wont have a team for next week with the suspensions but still ST TOTTERINGHAMS' day emerges.

Well played super Tom 2 goals and a header off the line to stop WBA taking the lead.

Also well played Santi and Fabianski and Monreal

Everyone else were average ( about all we can expect)

a great win but anybody who thinks Giroud is still going to cut it with us then you must be deluded.he offered nothing when we were cruising then when we went down to 10 he did fuck all tackling back and also he so bad at holding the ball up he gave us no outlet at all to build from,he is shite, great win though :barscarf:

A very good win with 10 men. The 4th place trophy is in sight. :barscarf:

Delighted with the 3 points. :barscarf:

But they were shocking substitutions. Invited pressure for whole of last 20 mins and made them look like Barcelona.

Bloody brilliant result :barscarf:

Giroud was utter dog shit in that last 20 mins though  Down to ten men and our lone striker completely failed to take any pressure off us whatsoever. He didn't win headers, he didn't hold it up, he didn't put pressure on the WBA players in possession and then in the 94th minute he chose to shoot from a difficult position instead of running it into the corner flag :banghead:

He had me shouting at the tv for the last 20mins in disbelief. Great win with 9 men today :barscarf:

Anyone who thinks Giroud is a hard working player should take a look at those last 20 minutes. Strolling around like he didn't give a fuck, offering absolutely nothing. And then in injury time the ball should have been taken to the corner and kept for the last 2 minutes.

Fair play to Rosicky, Fabianski and Nacho and Sagna. All did well :barscarf:

Get the fuck in...what a fucking battle.

We showed bottle, Nacho, wookash, Rammo, superb...Koscielny was by far our best player, what a fucking rock he can be.

Thats what we should aspire to be EVERY game, it looked liked it meant a lot to them...they cared..thats what i fcking want.

Agreed.
The sending off and Lukaku coming on changed the game completely. We looked totally in control until that point.
Defensively we looked solid until this point, afterwards it got a bit hairy. I wish we could cross a ball, get a ball in the box as accurately as the Baggies. I also think the sun made it very difficult towards the end of the game, hence the tactics.

Offensively at times we played some beautiful football. It looked fast, inventive and it essentially came down to Rosicky who was just great.

Thought Giroud looked a lot better in a forward 2 than he did at the end, where every decision he made seemed to be the wrong one. I'm not one of these for taking the ball into the corner though, he scores and it's game over, simple as that

Got to be happy with 3 points.

Is too early to book the open top bus for 4th place non-trophy yet?
