2 zip. Zaha again. I wonder how long it takes Tunrip to say we nearly signed him.
Nearly as long as it has taken United fans who have never seen him play to declare he is absolutely quality after seeing he's scored twice on BBC Live Text or Twatter.

To be fair I haven't seen a whole pile of him to comment. Even with his 2 goals tonight he's still only got 8 goals this season. Hardly prolific at championship level. Just took up an interest in him when he proclaimed himself a gooner.

Haven't seen a great deal of him either bar a few highlights on the league show but tonight he was good but over both legs Brigton have wasted so many chances and Zaha was clinical. His 2nd goal was class.

I will say this about him between tonight and on the league show on the Beeb, he is a free kick buyer. Not always dives because he does dribble a lot but he looks like he's from the school of go-down-when-defender-breathes-on-me.

He should fit right in at Manure

A Brighton fan on my Facebook is kicking off at Poyet's post-match comments. Apparently instead of showing solidarity etc in the face of a disappointing defeat he gave a completely self-serving interview about his future career.

Had a look at his comments and I do have to say he seems to be whoring himself out for a move. If he wants a change of career he could probably become the Uruguayan Guillem Balague - he gets enough media work on the back of reaction to Suarez's regular idiotic misdeameanours anyway!

Didn't hear the comments, bit harsh to judge people on what they say when the pain is that fresh
show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser.

Don't know what other thread to put this in but just watched the Copa Del Rey final and it's probably as bad tempered a match as I've seen in a while.

Both teams down to 10(Ronaldo for kicking out).Mourinho got sent to the stand ...suprise,suprise. The ref lost control of the game not so much his fault but both teams were taking the p*ss. Petulant fouls, dirty challenges, rolling around, trying to get players sent off.

Ronaldo has to be one of the best headers of the ball in the world, arrives at the right time in the penalty area and just seems to hang in the air waiting to head the ball.

Someone is going to end up with an excellent player in Falcao, whoever pays his release clause...it won't be us  but his pass to Diego Costa for their 1st goal was exceptional, not to mention twisting and turning around 3 Real players to make the space to release the ball

Anyway when they all stopped trying to get each other sent off, it ended 1-2 to Athletico after extra time.

So no trophy for Mourinho.

Simeone has no picked up the Europa League,Super cup(4-1 thrashing of the chavs) and the Copa Del Rey,yet it's Mourinho and Pellegrini that everyone's trying to get.

Shitty could do a lot worse than getting Simeone over and get him to bring Falcao and Courtois with him......what an excellent keeper, he's better than Hart. He doesn't try to make Hollywood saves, just saves and gets on with it. He probably doesn't do sad tosser Head and Shoulders ads either.
He shouldn't be on loan...He should demand a transfer of the chavs

Yeah I watched the game as well Topgoon. Falcao is indeed excellent (Off to Monaco btw, amazingly) and Courtois is probably the best young GK in the world. Can't believe the chavs have him as well as Cech on the books. They're set for years in goal......c*nts.

As for the game, it was a typical "high level" Spanish football match where the dive-fest and general cheating and moaning/harrassing of the ref outweighed any actual football played. Both teams didn't cover themselves in glory and a few of the Real Madrid players in particular were especially culpable, namely that little wanker Ramos. I struggle to think of a more despicable footballer at the moment. An absolute mammoth c*nt. At one point during the game he went into a challenge with Falcao (who hardly touched him) and fell in a heap rolling around on the floor as if he's just had his ankle snapped in half, and the next thing you know, the tosser's miraculously up and arguing with the ref after realizing he hadn't punished Falcao. For me, he's right up there with the Suarez's and Terry's as one of the biggest c*nts in the game. :censored:

Interesting that Mourinho failed to win a single trophy this season. Hope he's beginning to lose his touch just in time for his move to the chavs.

Ronaldo played like a petulant brat and his red card shows why Messi will always be superior. You never see the Argentine genius react like that regardless of the situation during a game.

He's at it again! Not even in the matchday squad, injured Terry dons full kit to address Chelsea fans after last-day Everton win.
