WHAM - this (Last) Christmas

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Erm, who held it up and played pod in Giroud ?

As I said yesterday, they should BOTH be playing as a pair.

Take a bow wally son.

1-3 as I predicted a few pages ago.

Giroud needs a rest, we have Podolski who we've seen is a proper striker, giving everything from the moment he came on. Cazorla back in form, he was brilliant today. Theo :barscarf: Özil not at his best, still making chances but nobody finish them (giroud), if Poldi was there it would be way different.
How many months will Rambo be out? :(

Top of the league again (at least for two hours) :barscarf: :barscarf:

Not only is he a great finisher, as soon as he came on he was desperate to get on the ball and he could smell blood. No fannying around, no tippy tappy.

And see how he's profited from playing as a wide striker - where he can cut/drift infield. If we go back to playing him from the start of games as a winger expected to get chalk on his boots then don't expect to see anything like the best of him.
In Gooner myth land apparently he's lazy where as Le Chapman works his socks off

Should never have found ourselves 1-0 down but fair play great response, always felt we were going to score. They're in trouble, Allardyce is one or two results away from the boot.

Fantastic from Cazorla today, really great to see him performing like he did at his peak last season.

Augie still claiming he was rubbish before he scored......why can't people occasionally admit when someone they don't particularly like did well. Come on Augie....I've managed it with Le Chapman and Statue Man this season...you can do it pal.....go on now.....

Watch the first 65 minutes again and you tell me if he was worth 50k much less 100k  Fair play when that first goal went in he picked up his game big time but motm I don't fcuking think so - mcallister hasn't a Scooby doo if he thinks wally was the best player on the pitch

I thought that BFG (again) and santi were both excellent but arteta was immense and should have been motm by a mile

I definitely wasn't demanding that he be subbed for 5 minutes before he scored the first

With the opposition coming up it would be smart to rest both Ozil and Giroud.

I'm pleased about the win and come back and it's good for confidence to get a win , get pod and wally scoring again but now we need a win against free scoring Newcastle or is it Cardiff next ?

RAMSEY BLOW - West Ham 1-3 Arsenal
A blow to Fantasy Football managers everywhere, and more importantly Arsenal fans, as Arsene Wenger confirms that Aaron Ramsey has an injury.

Wenger says: "I don't know how bad it is but, for sure, the Christmas period he will be out."
