Man City Community Shield

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I went for 132 which was rocking for the cup final, so should be good even though this is only a friendly.

I assume both teams are wearing their first strips for this- they did for the last match when we drew 1-1 :D

We went through this on another thread! Do try and keep up, rigsby!

He would have trained fully with the squad throughout the tournament, and then probably gone on the lash. So he gets the same time off as the rest.

Frank Lampard arrived at City today and says he's settled in well, adding: "I recognise many of the fans from when they supported Chelsea".

I've been invited to go to the "Away Boyz Festival" at The Green Man pub before the game. Can't think of anything i'd like to do less.

i'm surprisingly optimistic about this game now - with that lot out - and Negredo - we should score at least and be able to hold off city.

i'm thinking 3-2 us.

Ramsay, Sanogo and Dirty.
