The Board-Finance-AGM

Someone could make a fortune manufacturing and selling big white sheets for football protest banners.

Totally agree mate!!!! Been saying the same thing for years. I haven't been for over 4 years, my last game was the 2-3 at home to West Brom in Sept 2010. My ticket that day was £75 and I realised then that I just couldn't do it anymore. Best part of £100 to watch shit like Almunia, Eboue, Song, Bendtner and Denilson strolling around without a care in the sodding world.

I walked out after that match and saw one of the players driving onto the Holloway Road in a German registered Mercedes McLaren convertible - a car worth more than my house. I couldn't see who was driving (left hand drive / blacked out windows / crowd of fans around the car) but that was it for me. I vowed then not to go back until Wenger had gone and taken all of his soft shite players with him.

Trouble is though, you've only got to read the comments on the main Gooner website to see how many "fans" still idolise Wenger and think the sun shines out of his arsehole - it is truly tragic. For me change can't come soon enough!!
^^^This^^^

Yeah, I was at that game and remember Arshavin coming over to take a corner with about 2 minutes left trailing 2 - 3 and he strolled over as if it was the 1st minute of the game....also he DID look Fat.

Better still White Sheets with Velcro and Large Red Velcro Letters - So you go in with a pro -Wenger Banner - and then change it when the Stazi Stewards are elsewhere!

The possibilities are Endless. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

F*ck that makes depressing reading - Even though we all knew it (the AGM) would follow the same sanitised and edited format it has done for years.

It's a pity that a part of the meeting cannot be put aside for Direct Questions To Individuals on the Board by Individuals in the audience.

It would just be nice to see one of the scumfuckers squirm for once and be stumped as how to answer - truthfully.

Those two faced :censored: wouldn't squirm if you grabbed them them by the bollocks and twisted em with all your might! They are a law unto themselves and unfortunately only see us (the fans) as an inconvenience... a boil on the backside of Kroenkes empire!

Have to say that I like the question of how two board members, who own no shares in the club, can propose a £3m payout without the need to explain it properly to the people who do own a small piece of the club

the worst thing to have come out of the AGM was the fact that they brushed off the £3 million with not much criticism.

so now that this has been done once then it will start happening all over again.

for all those deciding it is a good idea to stop buying club merchandise, programmes, food etc at the Emirates then think again.
any shortfall in sales projections can now be taken out of the club by this means.

Browsing through the Denver Post as I do and reading the AFC forum , this little gem turned up from a Colorado Rapids supporter , have to agree there is a parallel.

Look, we're all frustrated at how this season turned out. I'm sure that Hinchey is tired of hearing the criticism, as well. He probably thought the last place he would have to hear it was from his own (subcontractor?) employee. But this isn't the first time he has lashed out Monfort-style at a blogger or a writer covering the Rapids from his own personal email for criticizing the Front Office. Not having someone currently doing his PR dirty work must be wearing on him.

We love this club. We spend our own time and effort and money following this club. We try our best to make their jobs easier and make them successful by buying merch, buying season tickets and giving their constant rebuilding the benefit of the doubt.

But the fact of the matter is this. We were here before KSE. We were here before the current Rapids Front Office. And like it or not, we'll be here long after they have all moved on.

yes - in total breach of FCA listing rules too.

as a PLC they are required to disclose the exact nature of all contracts & payments to all shareholders under FCA Transparency rules.

this is actually the bottom line and their get out clause of course.
you could argue that because we still have waiting lists the prices are actually too low still! I suppose they need those lists to create a demand...

if the waiting lists ever dry up they might need to rethink ticketing strategy though...

Friend start of last season joined the waiting list and is 42k
Another friend joined this season after we won the FA cup: 70K

There in lies the problem they could sell the ground out twice so they can charge what they like for season tickets.

I can see it coming soon though where the fans do moan and do protest and I think it will start this season IF we don't get the 4th place and above trophy.
