well, Ospina is going to need some match practice if he's to play the next three CL games. this could be a good thing.
Szcz only suspended 1 match.
really - did not know that. i guess it is less than violent conduct i suppose....

And yet again another wenger redeemer, result tonight largely based on the utter shiteness of the opposition..and while true that you can only beat the team in front of you....well...lets just judge him on Sunday shall we!!

Much needed result. Onto Saturday. How far away is Ospina from the #1?

regardless of how poo they are/were it must have done wonders for welbeck, sanchez and Ozils confidence for them three to connect like that, for ox too.

no new injuries.

I wanted Campbell to get some game time, and take off Welbeck at 60 mins ahead of big game Sunday.

A little way I think- too early maybe to say- some felt he could have stopped Clynes shot in the Credit card cup- Im not so sure, it was a screamer, and for fault it should go to the outfield for failing to close Clyne down

Will be a great performer but needs to sort out his distribution, gave it away far too often with a wayward pass.

Loving Alexis and Welbeck's workrate, makes such a difference to have the opposition under pressure if they have the ball in defence instead of giving them time on the ball.

That performance from Welbz is the best I've seen from an Arsenal striker since Henry in his pomp.

Think he was right on this one. No point risking them when the game is won

The game is never won with us  . But with goal difference maybe being a factor later on - I would rather have kept the lads on with the better work ethic. I don't think he had Sunday in mind coz if he did he would surely have brought off welbeck and not brought on wilshere ?

Tonight has shown us The Ox and Alexis have to start on the wings. Pace work rate and directness I love it.

18 years today 4-0 up and no sign of "There's Only One"

Whether or not the opposition were shit or whether it won't ultimately matter because we have no chance of winning the CL or whether we are inevitably going to lose on Sunday.. I'm absolutely fucking delighted that we managed to come out of this one looking so well.

Alexis having a great game, Ozil playing brilliant, Welbeck treating us to his first career hat trick after 1 month of playing for us and having one of the best striking performances in our shirt in a long time.. I don't know how anyone can be miserable. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Can't wait to take the piss out of the Yanited plastics over here about how much they're missing our Danny Welbeck.
