BEST OF LUCK IN MILAN LUKAS

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

But don't the Inter fans realise he scored over 100 international goals for Germany against Qatar, Oman, San Marino and Gibraltar? :rubchin:

Give him half of the chances that the french model had against monaco, and I am damn sure that we would have one foot in the next round of the champs league now
I thought the same thing when Giroud blasted the ball over the bar from close range and also when Welbeck chose to hit Walcott with the ball rather than the rest of the goal he had time to aim for.
So effectively, Podolski becomes a better player through the sheer ineptitude of the ones we currently have?
:rubchin:
Oh. Dear. That was the point all along. No one said he was Pele. The point is he is as good as, or better than, any striker at the club and the manager failed by not adapting the system to his strengths. Jesus. Have you recently suffered a head injury or something?

Oh hang on. That's that settled. What were we thinking. The kind of 12 year old virgin geek that actually votes on internet polls is the best judge of everything. Will someone please ask those voters how best to deal with IS and the Palestinian question before it's too late?

Fuck me, did IQ's just drop on here in the last few days?
Nah, it's been an on-going process for a few years now.

Yeah... because Italian club fans are known for their reasonable opinions and common sense, huh?  Hilarious that you have a shit fit over racism on one thread but don't seem to have a problem using the attitude and opinion of some of the most racist fans in the world to back your "argument" on another thread. Are these renowned racists and reactionary morons how we now judge a footballer? Their opinion now counts again, huh?
What a strange little comment
This argument has nowt to do with racism, but errr, is to do with football like!
This is about Podolski's ability as a football player - how you managed to crowbar racism into this is breathtaking frankly, give yourself a pat on the back Sire! And once you've done that, you could look at the footballing context ie Podolski has been sent out on loan and less than 3 months in, he's flopping massively. But yeah let's talk about the Inter fans and ignore Mancini's openly declared thoughts of him.
I guess them Bayern fans and Germany fans that boo him too must also have opinions of zero value too eh?
Wow. Are you really that stupid? Seriously?

Quite clearly (well for most people with a functioning brain) I'm discounting the opinions of a group of moronic fans that boo a player within weeks of his arrival. The opinions of people of that level of stupidity don't count. You, however, seem to think their opinion is sacrosanct and yet, these are the same group of fans that also monkey chant at their own black players. They judge players on skin colour. They judge players before the player has had a chance to prove themselves. Do you see the connection regarding their intellect? Is that clear enough for you?

We had our own little group of idiots back in the day - "fans" that booed Dicko, Nutty and Wrighty at certain times. And wow how right they turned out to be, huh?!! Those 3 were proper shit!

Speaking of Podolski "flopping massively" I wonder what you thought of Pires and Henry in their first year with us. Neither set the PL alight. Judging any player after a handful of games, particularly after leaving a team where they were not given a decent run of games, and now in a new country, new league, new team, new system, is the work of morons. You're in good company though, huh?!
I especially love that nonsense! :barscarf:
What did I think of Henry? What the young kid, barely 22, who had won the WC (and was his country's top scorer in doing so, and err actually played in knock out matches) and had it all in front of him? And what did I think of Arsenal beating Real Madrid and a strong Juve team to the signature of Pires? Yeah, those 2 were bound to turn out shite weren't they
How old is Plodolski again? :rubchin:

FYI: Henry was never ever accused of being a lazy wastrel by anyone. Nor was Pires. Podolski has had his attitude questioned by almost every manager he has ever had. He is almost 30. He has been booted out of Bayern, booted out of Arsenal and now, is to be booted out of a club that has him on loan
He's a flop, him being voted one of the worst Serie A signings is another nail in the coffin, him not playing more than 40 minutes of Knock-out football in the World Cup is another etc etc....but yeah keep digging amigo. I think my criticism of Lukas must lump me in with all the other racists too LOL

That old head injury still kicking in huh, Itchy-Baba? Who said they were bound to be shite? I asked what you thought of them, as you seem to make judgements based on a handful of appearances (and of course the comments bit at the bottom of websites!  ). The point being Henry arrived under a cloud from Juve, having "flopped massively" with 3 goals in 19 appearances. Pires also arrived under a cloud from Marseille having only scored 8 in 66 and boycotting them towards the end. Both struggled in their first year but showed flashes of the quality they had - exactly as Podolski did in his time with us. Sensible people could see Henry and Pires had quality, but let's be honest, you ain't sensible by any definition of that word!

Your criticism of him wouldn't lump you in with the racists, but your ongoing stupidity might. :-P

See my reply to Itchy-Baba above. And then read what I wrote. You do get the concept of sarcasm, yes? The point being that Itchy-Baba makes these judgements based on a few games and the opinions of internet poll-voting morons.

Yep, IQ's are down. :(
