BRIGHTON AWAY - FA Cup 4th Round

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Calum Chambers career is going down the shitter......quickly.
His big problem is, he's seriously fucking slow and a CB can get away with it (kind of), a right back can't....

If somebody deserved a goal today, that was absolutely Rosicky. Great finish! :barscarf:

I was delighted when we signed him, because he can be (and indeed was) a wonderful player. I thought the injuries had ruined him but he can still perform to a high level, even at 34.

My concern is though that as soon as he gets a run and you think he might turn the clock back, he gets crippled again.

A lot of people attribute our failure to win the title in 07-08 to the eduardo injury and last minute goal v brum but i think the injury to rosicky that season played just as big a part :(

Some things don't change - Wenger making substitutions almost on the 70th minute.

Alexis and Akpom..... :barscarf: :barscarf:

...or benched. What I like the most in him is his ability and willingness to always try to go forward. He rarely plays backwards but tries to find paths going forward. His pace is still also good.

Doesn't make sense, if you're going to rest someone, do it, don't give them a chance to get injured. Not a surprising substitution from the mong in charge though, true to form!

3 minutes on and Alexis has already run more yards than Diaby in the entirety of his games! :D
