Was thinking something similar myself - you would think by the reaction of 1 or 2 lads, that you went into a wild rant about it

Just for clarification lads, there are some older Gooners on here (like myself) who believe that your first choice keeper should be No.1 always - outfield numbers need to be more flexible of course, but there is no excuse for having any players wearing a squad number in the 30s especially when we scarcely have 20 proper first team players

I'm calm, but just stating that I prefer to stick with tradition where possible, so in a world of squad numbers, I still like to see my goalkeeper wearing the number 1 shirt.
