Everton at Home

Haven't sung that for a while

Since The Emirates Cup :barscarf: :barscarf:

Seriously though we really need to be more cautious and not be bombing on with only a few mins to go. I don't agree with bringing on the likes of Gibbs and Flamini to shore things up if they are going to be bombing on anyway. Should be bringing on Wally get men behind the ball and try and catch them on the counter with pace, instead of them catching us on the counter with 2 mins to go.

But anyway fuck it - Another great 3 points.

Nearly shit myself at the end but onwards and upwards from here. If we are to make a genuine title challenge we will have to learn to be way smarter closing out games. Wide open just before HT when we conceded and were all over the place at times at the end. No point bringing on players to shore things up if they end up being our furthest forward players.

Get fucking in :barscarf:

Thought it was a very good performance generally and a real shame we were hanging on and nearly throwing it away.

Giroud was exceptional, Ozil was pretty masterful, CBs were excellent. Sanchez still looks a bit fatigued and Ox was dreadful mind.

Played so much better with Ozil in the middle in place of Ramsey.

Ox gives Ozil one thing Ramsey doesn't, space in the middle, i've said it before the problem with Ramsey is that because he isn't a natural wide player he always wants to come back inside which cuts down the available space for the other central attackers and makes things far to tight across the box.
