As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Nowhere to be seen when we needed him. It's fitting that he stopped scoring when we went top and started scoring again after Leicester had clinched the title. Absolute pony.
If he fluffs chance after chance game after game but then manages to land a free header in the vicinity of a teammate and starts arrogantly cupping his ear to the French fans I wonder how they'd react?
"Olivier has strong and weak moments so we have to deal with that. He is a bit unbelievable - he is in cycles. He scores in spells and then sometimes he scores less."
Is this some kind of sick joke? Giroud said at the start of this season that Arsenal dont need a striker. Then the fuk wit went 15 games without a goal which was a large reason for why our title challenge come apart. Then he scored against City, and scored a hat-trick against the bottom placed team in a dead rubber game, and suddenly he is brilliant again? He only scored in 3 of the last 19 games. Yet Wenger seems to think Giroud is a great player, whilst Giroud himself seems indifferent and stunned as to why he is bring criticized in the first place (ignorant or what)
And the media will insist we get behind a manager who is going to make the same mistake for a third seasons in a row, by backing a player who has proved beyond doubt, that he is utterly incapable of scoring prolifically and frequently.
I cant support a manager who knows less about the game than I do.

Probably not by singing his name in adulation...
Exactly.
Arsenal fans get treated with contempt and there is no excuse for it ... but we do not help ourselves at times. We are far too lenient.

That's because real fans have patience - haven't you swallowed the script ?
