Leicester Champions Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Pretty cutting analysis from one of the scum actually
Nice to see you back on here mate - wonderful night bringing everyone out!
Thanks mate, I still visit from time to time but life at Arsenal is so groundhog that it hardly seems worth discussing until we change manager. Relief is now washing over me because I genuinely thought the scum were going to win it and I wasn't going to be able to leave the house for at least a decade.

:barscarf: :barscarf:
Completely understand - to be honest I have posted a lot more on here than previously because I take infinitely less enjoyment from watching Arsenal and in general have watched miles less football this season.

Although this place is full of whinging bastards, seeing people with like-minded
Views on Wenger is a bit of a sanity check.

I despise Chelsea, but thank you very much, from stopping those wankers from winning it. Also, sky talking complete bollox about spurs being up there from now on. Nope, it was a freak season, in which everyone was shit, and they still couldn't win it. They will be back into obscurity next season.

This was Wenger's dream stolen from under him. He wanted to win 'with kids' and with a team that didnt cost a lot relative to others. The dream is dead for two reasons. One, obviously he is never going to do win it. Two, Arsenal are no longer a team that doesnt spend - we do spend and pay really high wages, its just shame its on Walcott 140k, Giroud 100k, Arteta 80k, Rosicky 85k.

Wenger is on friendly terms with Ranieri, but Wenger will start to resent Ranieri and will try to play down the scope of the achievement. Ranieri has achieved everything Wenger wanted to. The bitterness in Arsene will eat away at him. And he wont bring himself to spend money this summer - spending money as a response to Leicester winning the title is to bruising for his ego.

The guy is class. His team is incredibly well-organised and hard-Working but also really exciting to watch. He has treated the media with infinitely more respect than they showed him both in his first spell and on his reappointment, and has never let his players rest on their laurels despite them hugely overachieving from day one. He hasn't bugged them up in the press or banged on about their mental strength or desire, even though they have shown it in spades.

Their players have been phenomenal to a man but this bloke is the architect.

All those over 40 will still know that Anfield 89 was our best League win because it was impossible. Not impossible like going unbeaten all season , yes even harder than that.
Something amazing happened when Thomas scored a feeling that could never be matched.
Thank you Leicester for bringing football magic back. I hate the money in the game now and imo ever since Aramovich arrived it has felt simply unfair. How can it be fair when a sporting team is given unless funds while others have to self fund.
Anyway I doubt we will ever see this happen again and it did happen. Well done Leicester and enjoy it.
If I die tomorrow I have felt what it is like for Arsenal to do the impossible now very few fans can say that but Leicesters can.

Brilliant. 8)

But hey guys, let's not forget the man that made this possible - Arsene Wenger. He said himself "You don't need to spend billions to win the PL". :-P

You just need a decent manager, it seems. Who'd have thought? :rubchin:

have to agree, the playacting and scything, cynical fouls and pissy bust ups were comical

cesc definitley covered himself in shame with that rolling about when someone touched his hand.
I know he went over the top but Lamela stood on his hand with his full weight. Must have fucking hurt, and the great thing is Lamela will get a ban.

Don agree that he went ott at all as lamella intentionally stood on his hand and you could clearly see how swollen his hand was went he went to the lino over it. It was another cowardly act by lamella who also sneaked into one of the scuffles and sneakily push the pikey chav captain in the back before running away before it was twigged  By no means am I against anyone twatting the pikey c.unt, but be a man about it instead of doing it from behind and sneaking away

I also have to agree with nb123 when he referred to the scum manager coming onto the field of play TWICE - if that was moaninho that did it, he would without doubt be sent to the stands, and yet the scum manager was allowed do it without even a warning afterwards
How the f.uck the scum had no player sent off last night is also a source of frustration for me - that dier c.unt (looked a bit like teenwolf to me  ) clattered a player well last in the last few mins, and clattenberg should have gone back to book him but lacked the balls to book the latest English "superstar" Dembele, a player I have always rated, was like a pure bitch last night - gouging, late kicks and/or kicking the ball at chav players on the ground, made him look like a total c.unt and as one of the experienced players he should have been the one to calm the others down. Walker is a crunt that I have hated ever since he scored that goal against us in their swamp - he was a nobody before scoring that goal and we elevated him to hero status for them and nowadays he is nothing but a scumbag c.unt

My youngest is 11 years old and he said that he has never seen me go as mental over a goal as I did when the 2nd chav goal went in last night - I went absolutely beserk and shouted so much I actually hurt my throat

Can I also say that, as disappointed as we all are over our shit season, can we keep this thread about Leicester being chavs and the scum being potless yet again   :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Agreed 100% augie. It was embarrassing to see supposedly grown up adult "men" carry on like bitches and schoolkids. Fucking pathetic.

I let my son stay up to watch it with me and when that second goal (I like to call it the "61 Never Again Goal" ) went in we both ended up on the floor in a major jostle, yelling and screaming. Just a brilliant moment. 8) 8) 8)

Hopefully the FA will now man-up and give the scum players and manager bans for next season rather than the two damp squibs left this season. 8)

Congrats to them they deserve it ,but the greatest triumph ever ?

People forget a small team called Nottingham Forest rose from the depths of Division 2 and won the league in their first season 77/78 ,then the following season they won the league cup and the European Cup ,then won the league again and the European Cup again !

Now thats the greatest triumph I ever did see and no mistake !

As a seasnoned spurs baiter i have been letting the banter wash over me .....................and now im going in for the kill !

I know at least 3 deluded fuckers that bought full Hunt regalia (red jackets ,white jodpurs black boots and a black riding hat) !

Oh Boy this is gooner be good !
