Think it’s fairly obvious why we’re not going to win this tie.

Wow, great ball by saka, what’s the name of the position that’s finish’s off those passes ??
Third choice goalkeeper? They must be really important because we keep buying them.

Raya has kept us in it, it’s been pretty similar to the league….lots of tippy tappy and the lack of a striker killing us.

Ohdeargod invisible as per usual

Saka has Alaba all day every day.

Kiwor hasn’t been too bad and partey has had his moments.

Happy with that first half

They obviously can't defend against Saka and that will have them thinking about that in the second leg

Given a decent account of ourselves so far

Brilliant half of football from us, apart from scoring that all important goal when we're on top.

Unfortunately being spoilt by a referee being absolutely petrified of giving anything against Madrid whilst can't wait to blow up for breathing on them

Same handball that was given against us against inter
Yes I remember this. If we are going by UEFA’s strict criteria this should’ve been given

That was a decent half of football tbf. Chances for both sides with both Saka and martinelli taking on and beating their man more than once.
Come on Arsenal :barscarf:

Too cagey for him and Odegaard needs to stop it with the constant waving of hands. Martinelli and Saka have their fullbacks on toast and Merino needs to stick to the centre a bit more. Not sure about the ref, he looks like a certified *word censored*

Usual story. Complete control at times, ball into the box that we don't have anyone in there for, wide open too often. Any team with proper firepower would be completely overwhelming this lot.

Good first half from us. The two goal keepers have been both saviours. As long as we don't lose this match anything can happen in the second.

They’re absolutely fucking devastating on the counter but we’ve coped well for the most part. The quality is a step above anything we’d face in the legaue and it’s a fascinating watch.

Huge respect to MLS too eh? Every time they say its the biggest game of his career, he just takes it in his stride like a kick about with his mates. Think of the players he's come up against and scoring on his international debut too all at the age of 18. What a gem he is
