As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fill your boots guys lol.
I honestly believe that as long as there is a breath in wenkers body, we will not be rid of his influence in the club - he will appoint his successor and he will stand fully behind as we continue down the path of mediocrity and it will be every bit as hard to get rid of a wenker appointment as it is to get rid of le cock himself
Won the cup and the french version of the Communty Shield in 2012. Outside of that, it's his first job and he's only managed to win half his matches with Lyon in a shit league.
Simeone, Klopp, Löw, Rudi Garcia or Jorge Jesus. Honestly believe anyone outside of that group isn't good enough or realistic.

Agreed- the last game I went to. Left early and swore I wouldn't go back til he had gone. Honestly didn't think he would still be here years later. Hope he's gone soon as I have told my boy I will take him to his first match for his 8th birthday in Feb. He'watched the game with me Sat and he said afterwards "Wengers is Rubbish, why can't we get the Chelsea manager?"
I was there too and stayed until the end :masochist:

Thankfully, even his army of minions are beginning to see the light. Arseb logger is in the same pot as Red Action far as I'm concerned. The day their messiah is gone - and that day is around the corner - they are going to have one almighty scrap to see who can catch the last drips of piss from Wenker's dinkle
Stopped reading the Arseblog years ago, a right load of club-span bollocks...
Likewise. He like that ArsenalFanTV retard Rob is a sell out.
For me, he should have gone in May 2010. We nearly won the PL in 2008. We had a good side. Arsene fucked the pooch by not strengthening that side sufficiently in summer 2007 and particularly in January 2008 to allow for late season player injuries, fatigue, mental tiredness, loss of form etc.
But he appeared to be building a decent side again. I've never wanted Arsenal to be that fair weather club that changes their manager every season. That's a tottingham shitsplats thing. A manager needs time to build a team. It was fair to allow him a couple more years to bring that 2008 side to fruition, to build it around Fabregas. Unfortunately, he didn't do that. So by May 2010 (for me anyway) he 'd had a fair chance but he'd repeatedly fucked it up with his "project" and should have been sacked at the end of that season.
Regarding this season, I'd say he should go in May 2015. Changing manager mid-season is a relegation avoiding tactic and smacks of desperation and fickleness, and brings little real benefit. If we change manager now, mid-season, we still won't win the PL or the CL, but we will install a manager into a tumultuous situation who will not get a fair crack of the whip from the media or most of our fans. Better to have a clean break next May and let a new manager start fresh for next season.
Well that's when I first said he should go. It's too late now, the damage has been done, huge contracts handed out left right and centre to mediocre players, poor coaching and fitness set up and a squad of lightweight, mollycoddled players who have no fight or leadership. Let's be honest, Wonga can't do much more harm!!
Agree with DB10, Its surely unlikely that one of the best managers mentioned over time would jump ship mid season, and now weve even missed out on Moyes
Problem is our board just doesnt seem capable of anything sensible. Quite why a rolling annual contract wasnt given to AW in April is beyond me.
Of course when Jurgen arrives today he should be nabbed, passport taken and only returned once a contract is signed.
I really am not sure how things are going to play out from now on.
it was a bit worrying that he came out fighting yesterday and not prepared to admit any mistakes. (not surprising of course)
if you take the view that he is unsackable it might well take until the end of what will be a long and tortuous season to force him out.
I wonder at what point will the fanbase also start to take issue with the board for keeping hin in charge?
the club is rotten from top to bottom.
He should go now and get Bouldy to stand in for a few games until we can line up a replacement. One good thing is the we have more decent players in the side than the manure shambles left behind by rednose,so an astute tactical manager with a couple of purchases at the back would have us challenging again.
