As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ok - Great. Can we actually enter the transfer market now?

We have ! Haven't you heard Arsene's theory of the 'internal market' which is for the long term development of our players. We're the kings of the internal market
"Agreed in principle". How long does it take to sign a piece of paper?!
Sign him making him think he'll player as a striker then BOOM! Bring in an actual striker.
Is it on Pravda yet? After the Newcastle home game he held all the aces and I was sure he was off. After reverting to type with dross performances since he wasn't long putting pen to paper.
What with the other five players that signed new deals a couple of weeks back we have once again dominated the 'internal market'. Chelsea and Man United must be seriously envious
£100k a week is extortionate for a player of Theos ability- he'll be getting paid more than Jack ffs and if its on a 3 1/2 year deal then we'll be back at the negotiating table 18 months down the line. I reckon the board want him on that deal so they can sell him on for maximum profit if he plays well.
For £100k a week you could get proven PL quality strikers- Demba Ba would be a good example. What are the odds that when he signs his new contract he'll go back to his 1 good game in 10 form and be laughing all the way to the bank.
Theo might be one of our best players but that does not make him a good player when you consider he is being measured against the likes of Yao Kouassi and Giroud.
