The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I can understand Vardy not coming to us. We're a club who hasn't come close to winning the title for years and years. He plays every game at and Leicester, at Arsenal Wonga will rotate him with his love child Giroud. Arsenal football club have a 'pull' but nothing like it used to be, we are just an average 'big' club now with little ambition. The whole Vardy thing is looking more like a farce every day and like others have said, we'll probably end up with Giroud and Wally up front again and Wonga will say 'we tried but no-one else was available'.

After watching Jack play for England in recent games I think maybe it's him we should be thinking of swapping or replacing before he gets injured again. I'd take any of the 3 french midfield players as a replacement ?. They are creative & aggressive at the same time. Jack just seems to fall over most of the time. Any thoughts ?. And why can't we just GIVE Wally away on a "Free". :barscarf: :barscarf:

"Hello Vardy, it's Mr Ferguson here, that's right boss at the one and only Manchester United. Forget it - how dare you deliberate a move from Minnows Leicester to our club. Jog on, you're 29 and have no idea of the scale of this once in a life time opportunity I'm giving ya. Now jog on, matter closed"

""Hello James, it's Arsene. We would very much like you to come to our club. We'll keep waiting, you need to be sure it is a big change for you. But please let me know before you tell the papers, so that I can prepare myself for the media. Thank you James"

Jeez, were frigin ARSENAL like the Mancs, Giants of the EPL, time to say jog on the the shixe!

Read the story of Ferguson being absolutely mugged off by Gascoigne when he went to Spurs instead. Can't believe Fergie's heart didn't explode.

Maybe it's not wenger who wants vardy :rubchin:

If gazidis is the one pulling the strings on this transfer and wenger is being undermined then the Frenchman has just fired a broadside

Dalgleish didn't take too kindly to Roy Keane renaging on going to Blackburn ( agreed deal but no contract signed) when the Mancs stepped in.

Vardy snubbing us will actually have an impact on us trying to sign an alternative. I'd imagine the first words out of said player's mouth when approached would be "so I was your second choice to Jamie F'n Vardy??!!!" Jog on!!

I suspect there could be a touch of the Fabien Delph's about this one, I'm staying, I'm going, I'm staying......I'm gone.

Now that would piss me off greatly - I can understand him taking his time on this decision, and I can understand it if he decides to stay at Leicester, but if he is f.ucking about with shit like this whilst we are awaiting a decision, then he should be told to f.uck off :x

If this is the case, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it is, but if this is the case then I will expect civil war within the club this summer - I am def one of those who believes that ozil was not a wenger signing, but if wenger is deliberately nobbling the transfer moves of the board, then there will be fireworks this summer and I would no longer put money on wenger to win the battle
