🚨 Arsenal among clubs exploring possibility of signing Jorginho from Chelsea. Italy midfielder’s contract up in summer + #CFC open to exit (may depend on Enzo Fernandez). 31yo one of options #AFC have expressed interest for. W/ @gunnerblog @TheAthleticFC

Surely there must be a law somewhere limiting the amount of times a club can screw another club with their cast offs ??? Have we learned nothing from gallas, helmet head, will i am, etc ?? Conor Gallagher is a different story in that he is young and has his best years ahead of him, but jorginho would be just another old washed up reject looking for a last big payday, after the chavs decided that he is no longer good enough for the big clubs  That being said, Conor Gallagher doesnt fill a need for us imo, so signing him makes no sense either

For me signing no midfielder is preferable to signing the wrong midfielder - I'd rather push ben white into midfield than sign jorginho or sander berge or declan rice (for anything over 40m)

:suicide: though he is better than Lakonga
Dougal from the Magic Roundabout is better than Lakonga.

Jorginho is washed up, no thanks.

🚨 Arsenal spent the day deliberating whether to make a third offer for Moises Caicedo, amid fears they could damage their relationship with Brighton if they submit an improved bid. There is a recognition a further offer may strain relations between the clubs. [@SamiMokbel81_DM]

This has got to be a wind up. Another £200m on players. Surely someone has to step in. This is a joke.

Absolutely fucking horrendous. You've got Newcastle and City with fucking sovereign wealth funds behind them not spending this much, chavs had their revenue severely restricted for months last year. How in fuck's name are they not being investigated for this? There is no fucking way that this isn't fraudulent.

I work in finance. Not that that is particularly relevant. Basically when Roman sold the Club he cleared the debt. It cleared the decks for them to go mad. The second thing is that any new Club owner gets a grace period from having to comply with FFP. It’s at least a few years until they need to comply. Thirdly they are signing players on long contracts so that their losses are spread over a longer period. These rules have been taken advantage of in an unprecedented way. Bizarrely by being sanctioned for supporting Putin, Roman has put the Club in the strongest financial position imaginable. UEFA should hang their heads in shame.

FFP is a joke.

So are we if we get Jorginho and chavs get Caicedo and Fernández.

Pay the money and get him ffs. We'll upset Brighton? more like we're scrimping again.

Please no, not Jorginho. I've never rated him even when the media used to get all excited because he has a Brazilian name. Fuck me, he gets caught in possession time and time again and disappears in tough games. Massively overrated. I'll be devastated if we sign him. Gallagher isn't a bad player, but as Augie says, he's not what we need. Again, agree with Augie that better to buy no one than fucking Jorginho.

Apparently Kante is being offered around as he’s out of contract in the Summer. Seriously injury prone though.

If he's currently fit, I'd take him all day long in front of Jorginho. No fucking contest. I can't see Kante without remembering that Wenger decided not to go after him, but paid more to sign Xhaka than the chavs did to sign Kante. What a wonderful legacy the French clown left us with.
